The space

There is a smart TV for watching TV in bed, two comfy velvet club chairs, and plenty of spots to curl up and read with the in-house book selection. The bed area features sheer curtains for a romantic, captivating, and stylish stay, with oversized wall mirrors guaranteed to take your breath away. The home is fully heated with hydronic heating, offers a ceiling fan for the bedroom, and features air-conditioning in the lounge room and heated tiles in the kitchen.
Ascend to the upper level, where another stunning King bedroom suite awaits your indulgence. Adorned with a regal King bed - this is the pinnacle of luxury. There is an upstairs bathroom featuring a deep bathtub, and double shower, with a makeup mirror for the most finessed.
The upstairs bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan, offering a gentle breeze on warmer days, while the hydronic heating ensures optimal comfort during cooler seasons. The artwork is stylish and sexy, and the bed is a delight for the senses.
Downstairs Living/Kitchen Area:
Enjoy the Chef’s kitchen, complete with good cooking implements and essential ingredients such as refined olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and the finest selection of tea and coffee. The lounge area features a crackling fireplace and a smart TV with free air and excellent wifi, providing a relaxing haven.
Kitchen:
The kitchen features a full-size fridge/freezer, six burner gas stove, and electric oven, plenty of bench space, a dishwasher, chef's knives, a deep sink, and a chef’s selection of cooking implements, quality trays, platters, saucepans, etc. The downstairs King Suite also features its own toaster and kettle for late-night cuppas.
Dining Room:
The wine-themed Dining room features more handmade bricks, timbered shelving, luxe velvet chairs, and all the essentials for a fabulous night in.
Lawn Area:
Take advantage of the outdoor gas BBQ and the serene lawn area, perfect for sunbathing, relaxation, or yoga sessions. The lawn area has enough room to store your bicycles, canoes, and if you are lucky - squeeze in a motorcycle or two if you are on a road trip. There is an outdoor setting and two sun loungers to bask in the sun with.
Parking:
There is plenty of on-street, free parking at the front of the property. There is also a parking area directly behind the property (look for the blue gate).
Entertainment / WiFi:
For your utmost entertainment and seamless connectivity throughout your stay, we have included a Smart TV in the bedroom or a Smart TV with Free air as well in the lounge. Feel free to connect to popular streaming platforms like Netflix and enjoy a wide array of movies, series, and shows at your convenience. Please note that while the countryside is breathtaking, it's important to be aware that internet and power services may experience intermittent disruptions during significant weather events. Should this occur, the beauty and charm of the surrounding countryside will more than compensate for any temporary interruptions, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the tranquil and captivating atmosphere offered.
Cleaning:
The property is cleaned exclusively with organic cleaning products, plenty of elbow grease, and plenty of attention to detail. There are cleaning products supplied for your use if required. All linens are supplied.
Laundry Facilities:
There is a front loader washing machine, organic laundry detergent, clothes dryer, outside washing line, and also a great iron, ironing board, and ironing spray.

Indulge in the culinary delights of Kyneton, Woodend, and nearby Romsey, boasting fabulous restaurants of superb quality. The renowned Lancefield Hotel is the go-to for delightful pub meals, while A Slice of Perfection offers gourmet pizza that lives up to its name. The Lancefield Lodge offers a local spot, especially romantic in summer, and a spectacular spot for winter nights by the fire. The Lost Watering Hole is a fantastic brewery with great meals and a good wine list.

With notice and at an additional charge - wine, cheese platters, and breakfast baskets can be organized in advance. If you would like to host an in-house dinner party or nibbles for a wedding celebration, please contact us in advance. The property is just gorgeous for bridal parties. Children:
Our spacious haven welcomes a small infant, providing ample room for your own crib and your own linen for bub.
Regrettably, due to the presence of stairs between the upstairs bedrooms, our residence is not suitable for crawling babies or toddlers unless they are confined only to the bottom floor.
Pets:
Service animals are welcome free of charge.
Small dogs are welcome, with a cleaning fee charged at the time of booking.
Disabled Access:
This is not an easy-to-navigate house for disabled guests for the upstairs king room - there are steep stairs to the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom/toilet. The downstairs suite (king bed/bath/kitchen/dining) can be accessed with no stairs from the front entrance on High Street. There is one step up into the shower area. There are two steps from the back patio to the lawn area.

Let me share a little about myself. Having traveled extensively throughout Australia and abroad, I have developed a deep appreciation for both the serene countryside and the vibrant city life. While I spent most of my career in large corporate settings, I have discovered immense joy in the simplicity of country living, even if I occasionally find myself commuting to the bustling city.
As a true country gal, hailing from a Queensland cattle station, well-looked-after animals hold a special place in my heart. However, don't be surprised to find me comfortably perched in a wine bar anywhere, working in the corporate sector or planning events and parties.
Designing, renovating, and decorating this home has been a personal project close to my heart. I hope you find joy and comfort during your stay at my property which I have poured my heart into. Alternate Access:
-Entrance via a rear laneway behind the "Lost Watering Hole."
-Dedicated guest parking spot.
-Rear gate secured by a guest code.
-Flat path to the rear deck (two steps) and entrance to the house.
-The house is fully self-contained.

Lancefield itself is a delightful destination, and you'll find that it serves as a perfect base for exploring nearby gems such as Woodend, Riddells Creek, Romsey, and Kyneton. For those looking for a little extra adventure, a short hop will take you to the enchanting town of Daylesford.
Please be aware that the downstairs king bedroom suite features some photographic artwork that includes partial female nudity. We want to ensure that all guests are aware of this aspect before making their booking decision.
