Secluded and nestled among the rolling hills and olive groves of rural Andalucia, Casa Limon at Cortijo Las Higueras, offers you peace and tranquility. Relax on one of your two private terraces (one shaded), with views over the surrounding countryside, or relax around the pool. We are on the GR7 & Gran Senda de Malaga trekking routes and there are some beautiful walks from the property. Lake Iznajar is just a 15-minute drive away for paddle-boarding and kayaking during the summer months.
Casa Limon comprises an open plan kitchen, dining, and living area, fully equipped with microwave, hob, fridge (with freezer compartment), mini-oven, and kitchen utensils. A wrought-iron spiral staircase leads to the first floor with one double and one twin bedroom and a bright and airy bathroom. There is a ground floor patio and first floor shaded terrace with gas BBQ with additional access from the first floor. The property has full air conditioning/heating and both bedrooms also have ceiling fans. A private path and steps from the first floor terrace leads you to the shared pool. The pool is shared with La Casita (x 2 guests). Both properties can also be booked together for up to 6 people at a reduced rate.
The local hamlet of La Parrilla is just a 10 minute walk away and has two typically friendly Andalucian bars, one serving tapas dishes at lunchtime. (no shop). The town of Villanueva de Algaidas is a 10-minute drive away and has various bars and restaurants, three supermarkets, butcher, fishmongers, bakeries, banks, and pharmacies. We are on the GR7 and Gran Senda de Malaga trekking routes with some lovely picturesque walks straight from the property. The stunning El Torcal Nature Reserve and Antequera Dolmens are a 45 minute drive away.
Your holiday here offers a wealth of activities to enjoy, including visiting some of the most magnificent ancient sites in the world - the Alhambra Palace in Granada (an hour by car), the mighty Mezquita in Cordoba (One hour 25 mins by car) and the many museums of Malaga (One hour drive).
