Forget your cares in this spacious and serene space. Approached via a leafy farm lane off a B road and just 20minutes from the end of the M4. Part of the main property but totally self contained up a short flight of steps you will have a sitting room with a double bed, a separate kitchen, a separate shower room with toilet and wash basin. A fold up child's bed and travel cot available.
The space
You enter the recently refurbished property via the kitchen which is fully equipped with full size cooker, microwave, fridge kettle and toaster. All manner of crockery, utensils and saucepans etc are for your use. From the kitchen you enter the sitting room with a double bed, bed linen and towels are provided, two comfortable armchairs, a dining table and chairs, wardrobe TV and WiFi (100 mbps). A quiet space to catch up on work should that be necessary whilst away from home. The separate spacious bathroom room has a generous sized shower, toilet and wash basin. Tesco and Sainsbury will deliver your internet order for your convenience. I can provide a fold up bed for a toddler and a travel cot. Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot.
The property overlooks the beautiful Towy valley, an area know as The Garden of Wales. You are welcome to sit in the garden and enjoy this view.
Centrally placed to enjoy The National Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney House & Gardens, a number of castles and a short drive to the beach. .
This region is ideal for those who enjoy outdoor leisure activities, such as walking, climbing, mountain biking, fishing and bird watching, with numerous attractions and the coast within easy driving distance. The Brecon Beacons National Park extends from Llandeilo to Hay-on-Wye. The scenery is spectacular, with diverse countryside including high mountain peaks, gorges, waterfalls, lakes, open hills and moorland, as well as wooded valleys and lowlands with soft rolling farmland and clear meandering rivers. The park can be explored on foot, horseback, bicycle or by car, and is rich in wildlife. Gelli Aur Country Park is a short distance away.
Pembrey Country Park provides access to Cefn Sidan beach, a 7-mile expanse of sandy beach. The country park provides nature trails, pony trekking, a dry ski slope and a salt marsh nature reserve. The National Wetlands Centre near Llanelli has marshes, lakes and reed beds where a variety of birds can be seen.
Lovely country walks and green fields surround the property . Please note, no smoking in the premises but you can smoke in the garden.
Towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.
Guest access
Free parking and beautiful views over the Towy valley and Dryslwyn Castle and Paxton's Tower from your window. An outdoor eating space with table and chairs and a garden with flower beds, mature shrubs and trees to sit in. You may wish to read a book or write one, enjoy the bird song and watch the birds on the bird feeder including a very cheeky Great Spotted Woodpecker. Red kites are often seen flying overhead. When it's dark, study the stars and maybe spot a satellite passing over.
There is a mowed field with some areas left for the grasses and wild flowers to seed with a cut path wandering through. There are also some sheep grazing in the next field.
If you want to leave the car, there are numerous walks from the property to enjoy.
