This charmingly furnished safari tent has a living area of approximately 25 square meters with full tent height and a spacious terrace with an awning. The fully equipped kitchen with inventory has a four-burner thermally protected gas stove on wheels, so you can cook outdoors! Additionally, the kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, coffee maker, and kettle. At the back of the tent are two sleeping cabins. One sleeping cabin has a double bed (140x200 cm), and the other sleeping cabin has two bunk beds.
The recreation park is located in the heart of the Veluwe, within walking distance of the village of Epe. The municipality of Epe consists of two cores, Vaassen-Epe and Oene. It is a lively municipality with over 33,000 residents, including the villages of Emst, Epe, Oene, and Vaassen, along with hamlets such as Gortel, Wissel, Zuuk, Tongeren, Niersen, and Vemde. The Northeast Veluwe is a recreational area with abundant natural beauty. Epe boasts thousands of hectares of nature. Beautiful riding, hiking, and cycling routes wind through the forests and heathlands. Our surroundings are also perfect for walking, cycling, and enjoying the beautiful nature. A nice campground near the amusement park De Wissel is nearby. Epe also offers excellent recreational opportunities. In the vicinity, you will find Emst and Hierden (near Harderwijk), each with a wellness center, namely De Veluwse Bron and De Zwaluwhoeve, respectively. Epe is located in the triangle of Zwolle, Apeldoorn, and Harderwijk, which can be reached by car in about 20 minutes. Epe has a pleasant shopping center and restaurants. Near Emst, you can find the recreation area Kievietsveld, with a water ski center. Between Emst and Vaassen, there is a candle factory and a trout pond. In the woods between Epe and Heerde, you will find the Heerderstrand swimming area. There are also several beaches along the randmeren (bordering lakes).

From the recreation park, it's 25 kilometers to Zwolle, 15 kilometers to Apeldoorn, and 20 kilometers to Harderwijk, Elburg, or the Veluwemeer. During the summer months, Epe hosts numerous events. A visit to the culinary village of Vierhouten, a bit further away, is highly recommended.

The Veluwe is a predominantly forested region in the Dutch province of Gelderland and a former quarter of the duchy of Gelre. The Veluwe covers approximately 1000 km², with an area of 91,200 ha designated as a Natura 2000 area. Starting from the city of Hattem in the north, the region is roughly bordered by Apeldoorn, Dieren, Arnhem, Wageningen, Ede, Barneveld, and Harderwijk. Large parts of the Veluwe consist of moraine hills from the Saale glaciation period. To the north of Rheden, in the Veluwezoom National Park, the Signaal Imbosch near the Rozendaalsche Veld is the highest point of the Veluwe at an altitude of 110 meters. This is the highest moraine hill in the Netherlands and the highest point in the Netherlands outside of South Limburg. In the north, you will also find the sand drift area Leuvenhorst and the Leuvenumse Bos. Kroondomein Het Loo, with 10,400 hectares, is located near Apeldoorn and is the largest estate in the Netherlands.
