Welcome to "Enchanted Cossatot III!!
Come enjoy the serenity and nature setting in this secluded rustic log cabin retreat overlooking the Cossatot River! Bring your side-by-side to get down the steep hill to the river for some fishing or kayaking (No 4 wheelers, 3 wheelers or dirt bikes allowed). Or you can just sit and enjoy the beautiful views and sounds of nature from our deck! We have the most amazingly beautiful stars at night and a firepit for smores and marshmallows!! Cabin sits on 40 acres with plenty of parking and privacy with only two other cabins nearby! Please note there are roosters nearby.
We are only 30 miles to the first river float service in Oklahoma. We like to use Tree Frog Rentals. We are 31 miles to Choctaw Casino, 37 miles to Broken Bow, 43 miles to Mena, 45 miles to Murfreesboro for antiquing or the Crater of Diamonds State Park and 46 miles to the Cossatot River State Park if you care to take a day trip. There is also a 9 hole public golf course at the DeQueen Country Club.
Note: The map on Vrbo is not accurate. Also, GPS will not take you to the right place! We will send you driving directions and can also provide a pin drop that will work with GPS.
We have a second cabin (listing #3150972) available just next door if you have a larger group and need two cabins!
If you want to check in the same day you book your reservation, Vrbo requires us to approve this beforehand so please notify us and we will be happy to do so if possible!
Rates posted may be for a limited number of guests. Additional fees may apply for larger groups, especially during the off-season.
Sleeping arrangements upstairs include a master bedroom with a king size log bed and an ensuite private bath. The second bedroom has a queen size bed with an ensuite shared bathroom. The third bedroom (bunk room) includes 2 bunk beds with an ensuite shared bathroom. The fourth bedroom includes one king size bed and one queen size bed with an ensuite private bathroom. The living room is downstairs and has a sleeper sofa with a queen size hide-a-bed. There is a half bath downstairs.
The kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, dishes and cooking utensils. It has an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and all the comforts of home! Central A/C and heat and ceiling fans throughout.
The living room has a smart TV and a DVD player. There are also flat screen TVs and dvd players in three bedrooms.
Our cabin also has a wrap-around porch with a large covered deck in the back and a view of the river. There is a fire pit in the side yard. We can provide firewood for a fee of $25.
Linens provided but please bring your own beach towels if needed.
Wifi service is via satellite and can be unreliable. We are sorry that we will be unable to guarantee that this amenity will be working during your stay and are unable to offer refunds for disruption of this or other amenities.
Large groups may be charged additional guest fees. You are welcome to bring more guests and will be invoiced for the additional guest fees after your online booking has been processed.
Rate minimums:
Any rates <$76 per night are only good for up to 2 guests, $76-$125 per night is only good for up to 5 guests, $126-$175 per night is only good for up to 8 guests, $176-$225 per night is good for up to 10 guests. You are welcome to bring more guests and will be invoiced for the additional guest fees after your online booking has been processed.
