Set back from the village road, at top of a private shingled driveway, Cherry Hill has been sympathetically modernised and is traditionally furnished with both antique and handmade furniture combined with colourful rugs, and skillfully complemented with some lovely fabrics, plenty of homely touches and the odd quirky touch here and there. From the spacious entrance hall you walk into a lovely beamed dual aspect open plan living room bedecked with eye-catching eclectic artworks on the walls; a very social space with a smart blue/grey country-style kitchen to one end and the cosy sitting area, with a sink-into sofa and armchairs all set around a wood burning stove, at the other. In between sits a cottage style wooden dining table and chairs with colourful cushions for extra comfort. From here the kitchen seamlessly links to a handy utility area furnished with a double sink and additional kitchen equipment. Upstairs are three lovely bedrooms; a king-size, double and single room, all presented with understated sophistication and sharing the use of a family bathroom with both bath and shower options. Outside, to the front of the house is a seating area that enjoys views across the surrounding fields; the perfect place for sharing a bottle of local wine as the sun goes down or listening to the birds chatter as they welcome the day, and you enjoy a cup of coffee while contemplating the day ahead
