Bortelid is also good for climbing and cycling and is absolutely the ideal place for hiking, be it a short walk or an extended tour in the mountains. We also recommend exploring the Hovass Valley nature reserve. In winter, Bortelid turns into a skiing paradise - the largest alpine ski area in southern Norway.
