The is an A-Frame home fitting 9 guests & a cottage for 2 guests on 4 acres of property with pool and hot tub! This gorgeous hideout is surrounded by Japanese Maples, pines and other tall, lush trees. Admire wildlife (birds, chipmunks, deer) all around you in this private oasis that makes you feel like you're away from it all, yet super close to the region's best restaurants, charming cafes and bars in Beacon, Newburgh, Fishkill, Wappinger's and Poughkeepsie. It's a rustic paradise!
The perfect escape from the city for a weekend or up to two weeks. You have an entire huge house with 4 bedrooms, a great room with fireplace, an entertainment room on the lower level with huge flatscreen TV, tiki bar and fireplace. There are sliding glass doors off of every main room with wrap-around balconies, perfect for outdoor lounging. The master bedroom has a king bed, ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi tub and a balcony overlooking the majestic yard and pool.
Hot tub overlooks the expansive property and is open all year round.
Pool with separate cottage that sleeps 2 and has full kitchen and bath OPEN ONLY MAY THRU SEPTEMBER.

The Hideout is on 4 acres of property with a main house that can accommodate 9 and a little guest cottage with its own kitchen and bath that can accommodate 2. YOU MUST BOOK THE ENTIRE PROPERTY (there will be no strangers to run into, it's all for you). If you want the feeling like you're remote, while being a quick drive from conveniences, sightseeing, hiking, bars and restaurants, this is perfect for you!
The pool house bedroom is almost entirely windows (with screens) so that you virtually feel like you're sleeping outside. Besides a full kitchen in the main house and cottage, there's an eating area outside your door by the pool, along with a grill for your use.
Please note that we have a strict policy that ONLY guests staying in the Hideout (up to 11 total) may be on the grounds/use the pool area.
We ask that you let us know if you need anything to make you feel at home!
Please note that the pool is not heated and is covered from Mid October until late April.
(In Summer) pool maintenance and landscaping is necessary but should not impact your stay. We try to coordinate with guests to the best of our ability so as not to disturb you.
There are deer, chipmunks, turkeys and squirrels that roam the property :) Please respect the wildlife.
