Les Sources, a former trout farm, is a paradise on earth: a beautiful private area of 9 hectares with 2 houses directly on a large swimming / fishing lake. The terrain is surrounded by a clear stream that ensures fresh water for the lake. Les Sources is about 2 km from the village of Ladignac le Long with a bakery, a super good organic butcher a supermarket, pharmacy and pub. in Ladignac also a beautiful Romanesque church with old cemetery.
The houses: the main house has 3 floors; Ground floor: living room (30 m2), kitchen diner (20 m2), bathroom with shower. From the cozy room, doors open onto a wonderful veranda in front of and next to the house, which offers a view over the lake. From the kitchen you walk to an outside terrace that borders another lake. The kitchen is equipped with oven / microwave and dishwasher. From the room a staircase leads to the upper floor, on which: landing and 2 bedrooms (1 room with double bed and balcony and 1 room with 3 single beds and lake view). From the room there is also a staircase to the basement with 1 bedroom en suite (the so-called garden room), bathroom with bath and toilet and doors opening directly to the terrace and more.
About 6 meters from the main house is the guest house, completely self-sufficient with modern kitchen, incl. dishwasher and oven. 1 shower / wc with washing machine, 2 bedrooms (both with a double bed) and a living room. The guesthouse is also located directly on the lake. You can rent 1 or 2 houses, but you always have the entire property at your disposal. If you are with more than 7 people, the guest house must be rented (extra cost: € 200). The area is woody, picturesque with unspoilt beautiful houses and farms. The beautiful well-known limousines graze peacefully and a green environment. There are many places of interest nearby including beautiful 12 th century churches. Limoges is famous for its porcelain and enamel. Limoges has an old center with a beautiful cathedral.
In the vicinity of the house you can cycle endlessly on quite damaged, paved, quiet roads. Walking through the woods directly around the house is also highly recommended. The well-known Richard Leeuwenhart route can be done by car or bicycle and leads past many historic places. Yet it has been found that many of our guests hardly leave the site because it is such a pleasant place to stay, especially if you enjoy swimming, reading or fishing. Recently there is free
