The house is based in a scenic village which lies on the Shannon with wonderful marine and harbour views, 4 mins from train station, which travels between Sligo and Dublin
The house is based in a very quiet friendly estate nearby the train station and in the heart of the village.
Surrounded by a river and wonderful green lawns and a back garden the house is very private and offers a tranquil space to unwind and live like a local
Downstairs is a large open plan sitting room which leads onto the kitchen. The sitting room provides a luxurious space to relax and gather in with 2 very large sofas and a large armchair. The open fire provides the ultimate in comfort. 2 complimentary baskets of logs and turf are supplied for your comfort. The kitchen is fitted with all modern appliances and has tons of storage space. Cooking utensils, crockery and dried goods are supplied. It is a perfect kitchen to cook up a storm and enjoy a wonderful evening in. The patio doors open fully out to lead into the garden which overlooks the nearby woods.
There is a powder room/ half bathroom downstairs and a utility room with washer / dryer and storage area for firewood and cleaning materials.
The first floor has 4 bedrooms, 2 en-suite and a large family bathroom

Bedroom 1 the blue Bedroom
This is an exceptionally large ensuite bedroom. The bedroom has a beautiful luxury king size bed. All beds are supplied with top quality mattresses manufactured and supplied by local outfitter. All windows have excellent black out blinds and quality curtains to help you to have a lovely peaceful sleep. The ensuite bathroom has a very modern power shower in black and is decorated in tasteful black and white tiles
Bedroom 2 the Balcony Bedroom
This is a large size bedroom with a Juliet balcony overlooking the garden and the surrounding village. The bed is king size and is decorated in a lovely champagne colour. The ensuite bathroom is a lovely relaxing green colour with a power shower and lots lots of storage space.
Bedroom 3 Front double bedroom
A very cute bedroom with cosy double bed. Decorated in hues of rose and green the room is very peaceful and has a lovely arm chair to relax in. Guests who stay in this room will have access to the main family bathroom.
Bedroom 4
This is a single bed in cast iron. It is a very comfortable size for 1 adult or child. Guests who stay in this room have access to the family bathroom
The family bathroom
Situated on the 1st floor: the bathroom has a fabulous stand alone roll top bath as well as a rain fall power shower. The bathroom is decorated to a perfect finish with teal panelling and Mediterranean tiles.
The attic suite expands across the second floor. It comprises of a bedroom, dressing room and a large walk in bathroom. It is a very large space covering the top of the house. It offers great privacy and has wonderful view over the nearby woodland.
The attic has a large king chrome bed with matching furniture and oodles of storage and hanging space. The dressing room can also double up a study or adjacent room for infant. The full bathroom has a power shower, and is beautifully decorated in white and grey.
The house is situated in a very safe and friendly neighbourhood. The village is well known for its restaurants.
