Directly across from the lagoon, near to bushwalks, breath-taking lookouts & ofcourse - the quaint Glenbrook village.
This delightful cottage is a perfect blend of old-world character and modern comforts.
It is the perfect size / set up for friend group get-togethers, large families with children, those with pets or anyone looking to enjoy a quiet, private home nestled in the beauty that is the Blue Mountains.
The lounge rooms have plenty of sofas and adorned with books, games, and streaming services on the smartTV, providing endless opportunities for relaxation and entertainment.
However, the true highlight of this holiday rental lies outdoors. The extra large backyard is a haven for both children and adults. Children will be overjoyed by the swings and slides, and even a blow-up pool and play table to splash and play in on warm days - while the young at heart can lounge under the shade of a majestic, climbable English Oak tree. And on chilly evenings, gather around the outdoor firepit to roast marshmallows and share heartwarming stories.
For those who relish alfresco dining, the gorgeous patio is perfect. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the sundrenched lounge area, or savor a happy family dinner (cooked on the Weber BBQ - charcoal and gas available), around the very large outdoor table under a canopy of fairy lights. This charming space is perfect for creating lasting memories with loved ones.
When the temperature drops, retreat indoors to bask in the warmth of the indoor stone wood burning fireplace. Curl up with a good book or engage in heartwarming conversations with friends and family.
The rooms are simple and relatively small - part and parcel of cottage living, but big enough to sleep 8 adults (and squeeze extra cots and toddler beds in most rooms if needed). A 9th floor mattress is available on request for the loungeroom.
The queen and double beds are fitted with plush mattress toppers, high thread count cotton bedding and down quilts to ensure a comfortable stay in all seasons.
Set in a beautiful leafy location - you will be directly across the road from Glenbrook Lagoon where you can feed the ducks and stroll around the waters edge.
In Summer, walk down to Glenbook Pool only 500m around the corner. Or for natural swimming hole lovers - the famous Blue Pool and Jellybean Pool also reside nearby in Glenbrook.
Local streets are lined with cute character filled cottages to admire as you wander around the area and just a stone's throw away lies the quaint Glenbrook village, a charming hub with quaint streets, boutique shops, and local cafes and restaurants.
In addition to its beautiful location, our holiday rental house is fully fenced both in the front and back, ensuring a safe haven for toddlers and pets to roam freely.
We also have Brooklands shops within 3 min walk - a small number of convenience shops including a bottle shop and plenty of takeaway.
The entire property is exclusively yours during the rental period - as well as front and backyards.
Please note this is our family home during the year- so everything you could need will be on hand, as well as some personal items around the house to respect.

The location of our cottage is truly one of its greatest assets. Situated directly across from the lagoon, cross the road and see ducks gliding on the water, offering a picturesque view that adds to the serenity of your stay.
Nature enthusiasts will find themselves in paradise, with a plethora of bushwalks and hikes awaiting exploration. Glenbrook which is the gateway to the Blue Mountains National Park. Meander through lush trails, encountering native flora and fauna along the way, and discover the hidden treasures of the Blue Mountains.
For those seeking breathtaking vistas, nearby lookout points provide panoramic views of the stunning landscapes that the Blue Mountains are renowned for. Our favourite local spots include the the AMAZING Chalmers lookout, Lennox bridge and Eureka picnic grounds.
Glenbrook is a great base for exploring all the mountains has to offer. Head out on day trips up the mountains to explore the charming villages of Springwood, Leura, Wentworth falls, Katoomba and Blackheath.
Or - you can also go down the mountain to the Nepean River (10 mins) and walk (or run!) along the river (5km loop - suitable for prams) and visit fantastic parks, restaurants and cafes.
There is a mature aged lady living in the separate studio out the back - but she keeps to her self. She does not have access to the house and does not use the backyard. Her windows do not look onto the property at all, so privacy is ensured.
