The villa has been furnished with comfortable, quality furniture throughout making this a relaxing home from home, just with a lot more sunshine.
One of the unique things about this property is the easy access to everything.
It is only 47 minutes from Malaga airport, all on main roads, with only 500m of flat, mostly concreted track leading to the gates of the property.
The drive to the beach at nearby Torre Del Mar is only 15 minutes because of the easy access road and takes you past the breathtaking backdrop of Lake Vinuela and the highest mountain in the region Mt Maroma.
You never get tired of it.
The village of Los Romanes is a short walk 1 km away where you can do a quick shop for some last-minute essentials (probably wine and bread), or have a tapas in the local café or best of all order your fresh bread from the Artesanal bakers for collection the next morning. Fabulous!!
The villages of Vinuela, Puente Don Manuel and others are only minutes away.
Nerja is 30 minutes.
The beautiful city of Granada is 1.5 hrs by a beautiful scenic drive over the hills. (That’s a lot of beautiful’s I know)
The property consists of the main villa, and a 1 bedroom Casita(apartment), Pool and garage.
There are large well stocked gardens on all sides and your own olive grove.
Main Villa
The main villa is fully air-conditioned and comprises a three-bed, two bath main house, all on one level, with a large lounge and a second, long open plan lounge-dining-kitchen area with an Andalucian rustic style kitchen.
All rooms are tiled throughout with occasional rugs.
All supplied bedding is good quality cotton complimented with soft throws.
There is a separate utility room for laundry.
The main villa is fully appointed with Air con in all rooms.
There is central heating throughout the main villa for all season comfort.
The master bed is en-suite, contains a king size bed made up of two joined large single beds for flexibility with solid oak furnishings and built in rustic style wardrobes.
The large en-suite is with shower over bath in a fresh and clean white tiled design.
The second bedroom is a single joined to the master, suitable for parents holidaying with a young child they want to keep close by like the owners did when they took their grandson on holiday with them.
The third bedroom has a comfortable double bed with bedside tables and wardrobe space.
The internal lounge is a large comfortable room with a three seater sofa and armchair, it has a woodburning feature fireplace, aircon, UK TV Channels and also Amazon TV.
The second bathroom is to the rear of this room.
The open plan lounge-diner-kitchen comprises two comfortable three seater sofas at the entrance to catch a cool breeze, a country pine dining table and chairs, dresser, a very cute wood burning stove and then of course the kitchen with large fridge freezer, gas cooker, and everything else you could need incl. microwave.
This second lounge has a charming beam and cane ceiling feature adding to the rustic feel.
The property also benefits from having a filtered water system allowing drinkable water from the tap without having to lug those heavy bottles from the car.
Apartment/Casita
The Casita is a large 7m x 5m open plan layout looking directly on to the pool. This has been recently refurbished with air-conditioning being added and comprises a new kitchen, new bathroom and there are new tiled floors throughout.
It comprises a new kitchen dining area partitioned off from a twin bedroom with sofa and chair.
The kitchen has a larder fridge and full size gas cooker.
The Casita also has a 32” Television with UK TV Channels and also Amazon TV.
Pool and Gardens
Now to the all-important pool area.
The pool is a 7.5m x 4.0m pool with a depth of 1.3m throughout with outstanding views of the countryside.
New easy access steps to the pool have been added and the entire poolside terrace has been extended and retiled with a new low wall for additional seating.
There is a new outside shower and a large outside seating and sunbathing area around and adjacent to the pool.
There is also a beautiful relaxing shaded seating area with rustic seating with full view of the pool.
Relaxation
The villa is set on a large level plot with parking for 4-5 cars on the extensive gravelled driveway.
There are many external seating areas with luxurious seating to sit on and relax, taking in the incredible views and sunsets.
The owners have also provided many shaded areas to escape the noon day sun and to take advantage of the views throughout the day.
The villa has a relaxing charm about it with grape vines for delicious black grapes in the summer and lemon trees for a slice with your G and T.
The grounds are full of beautiful plants including bougainvillaea, geraniums and the roses the villa is named after.
The smell of roses and Jasmine are in the air as you walk around the property.
The olive grove extends around the property for a relaxing walk through or for lying in a sleepy hammock with a book.
There is plenty of outside space and all of it is enclosed by large gates and a fenced area for security.
Privacy
There is excellent privacy and views from all aspects of the villa.
The pool is not overlooked and completely private from all directions.
There is a fantastic outdoor shower fully heated for showering in the mornings and evenings.
