El Cortijuelo is an authentic Andalusian farmhouse, with more than 150 years old that, with great enthusiasm, dedication and effort, has been completely restored with great care and turned into a rural house, maintaining its original structure and charm.
The Cortijuelo was inherited by Flora, its owner, in 1983 and after spending lovely summers in it with his family, he decided with Gonzalo, her husband, to turn it into a rural house, dedicating a lot of time and effort to the restoration of the complex and its subsequent expansion .
At present, the children of Flora and Gonzalo have taken up the reins of this rural adventure, with great enthusiasm, dedication and perseverance, to make this place a special place for our guests.
Open since 2010, is a farmhouse consisting of four independent houses, pool, garden, terraces, patios, porch for multiple activities and children's area, all surrounded by a farm. Each house is decorated harmonizing simplicity and good taste.
It offers an incomparable space for tranquility and family life, as well as a venue for activities and meetings, with the necessary facilities to accommodate groups.
El Cortijuelo is legally registered in tourism and its objective is to promote and bring the rural culture closer to all interested people.
In the common areas there is the swimming pool, the garden with fruit trees, several barbecues, outdoor furniture, porch with bar and beer tap that is isolated from the cold in winter, patios, ping-pong table, children's area, bicycles and large outdoor recreation areas.
The day to day in the farmhouse
After a peaceful night in the countryside, you can rest by the pool, light the barbecue and pay homage to the products of the area or take a walk in the nature lanes, climb to the top of the mountain or join to a field day, ride a bicycle or take long horseback rides.

The Cortijuelo, located about 500 meters from a small town in the province of Granada, has an area of ​​2,000 m2 of which approximately 1,000 m2 belong to the four rural houses available, not including the large porches that we have.
The houses surround a nice patio and garden, with a typical Andalusian decoration and in it there is the outdoor pool, barbecue area, children's area, table tennis, large porch with chiringuito, garden furniture, sun loungers and umbrellas for the pool, great diversity of plants, flowers and fruit trees. In addition to a comfortable toilet next to the pool and laundry.
Respecting the morphology of the cortijos of this area, based on being cool in summer and keeping warm in winter, thanks to its wide walls, you will not miss the air conditioning and in winter we will invite you to enjoy the warmth of the fireplace.
A natural environment
A natural and unique environment 20 minutes from Granada, 60 from Antequera, 80 from Malaga, 90 from Cordoba, 30 from Sierra Nevada and with unique views where we invite you to discover our region.

One of the most beautiful and cozy corners of the cortijo is the patio of 350m2 that is surrounded by the four houses. This patio, connected to the porch, has a typical Andalusian decoration, trees that provide plenty of shade in summer and in which only the sound of silence is heard. In it is the pool, two barbecues, garden furniture, playground, ping-pong table and a large porch with chiringuito and beer tap for our guests.
In the outer part of the house there is a large leisure and recreation area of ​​about 1000m2. It is completely fenced, with large trees and surrounded by pine trees, ideal for children to run safely or for a football game among the elderly.
