Looking for a nice place in the South of France to relax and enjoy? A wonderfully peaceful place in nature where you can still taste the real French life?
We look forward to welcoming you in a comfortable and spacious gite or lodge on our beautiful 13-hectare estate with swimming pool, in the middle of the rolling hills of the beautiful Ariège and overlooking the bison park.
The gîtes are built in the old farmhouse and have a private entrance to a large terrace. They have a country kitchen with living area, 2 bathrooms and wonderfully large hotel quality beds.
The sturdy lodges will be built this spring in the fruit orchard. There is (consciously) no TV but there is a good free WiFi connection.
Our beautiful swimming pool of 10x5 m has a beautiful view of the surroundings. You can also enjoy a drink on the terrace at our Peugeot J7 bar van.
At our domaine you can relax by the swimming pool with a beautiful view, walk across the fields or bocce. Children can build huts, swing or jump on the trampoline.
In the area there are endless possibilities to be active, sporting or cultural. To start with, the two nature parks about a 5-minute drive away: the Ferme aux bisons and the Parc aux Bambous. You can also enjoy a delicious lunch at both parks.
Within half an hour you will find cool lakes, rivers, hills, mountains and caves where you can swim, cycle, walk, climb, raft, etc.
For the real French feeling, visit the market in Mirepoix with its special village square, many flea markets, terraces and restaurants. Or go to one of the many flea markets or summer village festivals where you can enjoy a good meal with wine between the French.
The famous medieval city of Carcassonne and the Canal du Midi, both on the UNESCO World Heritage List, are just a 45-minute drive away and the pink city of Toulouse is an hour away. In just over an hour you will be at the beach at Narbonne or in 1.5 hours in Andorra.
