L'Escargot is a simply charming gîte, typical of the Burgundy style, where, for your comfort, the open spaces, exposed stonework and beams will delight lovers of character.
You'll be at the centre of the Route des Grands Crus, where you can discover the cultural heritage of a village with a worldwide reputation and prestige thanks to the history of its great Burgundy wines, on the UNESCO World Heritage Climats Trail (24 km south of Dijon / 28 km north of Beaune). Discover the natural areas (La Combe Lavaux, a nationally classified nature reserve), the gastronomy (renowned restaurants nearby), and of course its renowned vineyards and unmissable cellars.
The gîte is entirely dedicated to you, it is independent with a large 60 m2 wooden terrace and outbuildings including a 27 m2 indoor wellness area with a 4-seater SPA and a Sauna cabin for 2 people, overlooking the church square (parking nearby).
On the ground floor, a vast 35 m2 living room opens onto the first floor, overlooked by an iron footbridge with glass floor, leading to the fitted kitchen with wine cellar on one side and a bathroom, a lounge/games room area and a double bedroom with 1 x 160×200 bed on the other.
Access the 1st floor via a staircase combining metal and wood.
On this level, you will have access to 2 beautiful double bedrooms at either end, one with a 140x190 double bed and 2 90x190 beds that can be joined to create a 180x190 king-size bed, and a family room with a 140x190 double bed and 2 90x190 single beds, as well as a second bathroom with bath and WC. Between the 2 bedrooms, you can relax and work to your heart's content, with a wooden desk and a sitting area with a large sofa, TV and extra bed. This colourful space will delight those who enjoy cocooning, reading, watching TV series, etc.
If you're a keen sportsman, cyclist, hiker or biker, there are many footpaths in the vicinity, as well as the Grands Crus wine route, to your delight !!!! You'll have access to a separate laundry room and an enclosed garage for storing the equipment you need to practice your hobby.
Just put your luggage down! The housekeeping package includes cleaning after your departure and the hire of sheets and towels.
