THE APARTMENT: Low density, the whole building has 8 units and 3 commercial spaces at the ground level. It is calm, well lit, clean and with internet.
The apartment is at a relatively narrow two way street. Be alert when crossing and be street smart. It is somewhat busy during weekdays as there are some office buildings around the neighborhood. Other than that, it is a typical Manila neighborhood.
This simple accommodation is at the back of a walk up building (no elevator) so this would have lesser noise as compared to being at the front. It can comfortably fit 8 people. 1 Queen size bed and 1 full size bed.
Hot and cold shower is available. Towels will be provided.
PARKING
There is limited parking. First come, first served. Parking is tight. If you ended up at the front of the garage, you would need to wait for the other cars to move before you can get out and vice versa. During weekends, a couple of parking spaces at the commercial space in front of the building may be available. Otherwise, you can always opt for street parking.

GETTING AROUND:
Transportation: Take only official, metered or pre-booked taxi from the airport. Do not accept rides from people that approach you in the airport terminal. If you are interested with private airport service, you can avail of that for $30 at a cost (fare, toll and tip). This is advisable if your travel is in the evening. Please coordinate so we can arrange that for you.
Taxi is available in front of the apartment building. Buses and jeepneys can be hailed at Gil Puyat Avenue, also known as Buendia Ave. which is 2 and ½ blocks away (3 minutes walk).
Finding taxi in Manila is difficult, in general. Your best bet to travel is either by uber or grab app. Drivers usually use Waze app to avoid the congestion in the city. If it rains, you are likely to encounter flooding. It is more advisable to choose for an SUV pick up.
Call the driver if the app shows that the driver is stalled. The gps system in the Manila is not perfect. To go to the apartment, ell the driver that you are going closed to Buendia and Dian. From the side of Mercury Drug Pharmacy (corner of Gil Puyat and Dian) he can see the addresses going up.
Traffic: Like in any metropolitan area, you would expect traffic. Depending on where you are going, prepare to add additional 30 minutes for worst case scenario if you are to go to nearby locations. If you are going to Quezon City, Alabang, and other far destinations, expect to be on the road for an hour and a half or more. The best time to travel is when workers are already at work and before they leave work during the weekdays. Avoid Baclaran Church on Wednesday and Quiapo Church on Fridays. Do not be surprised if there is traffic in the evenings. The call centers are open 24 hours a day. And, from September till December, it is time for busy holiday shopping season. In the Philippines, patience is a virtue.
