This stunning social space has a high-end kitchen with a wood topped island, as well as a sweeping dining table where you can all sit together. There is a cosy and peaceful snug area which also comes with the added luxury of a wood burner. As well as a large separate living room which has a second wood burner as well as two sumptuous sofas to relax on. The ground floor also has a boot room as well as a utility room, plus a toilet. The first bedroom is also on the ground floor, with a double bed.
Head up to the first floor of Lodge Hill to discover three further bedrooms, all of them have king beds and are tastefully furnished. These rooms share access to a gorgeous and spacious bathroom giving you the option of an elegant bath or a separate shower cubicle. Up on the second floor you have a further two bedrooms a twin as well as a double bedroom, both with ensuite showers. There is a snug area on the spacious landing, perfect for relaxing together in a smaller more intimate setting.

Historic Whitby is 10 miles and Robin Hood’s Bay, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Staithes are all within an easy reach. Dalby Forest offers cycling and walking trails, as well as a zip line course through the treetops. You can hire a canoe or a rowing boat in Ruswarp to take in the sights along the river Esk. Grosmont is under 5 miles away, where you can catch a train on the Esk Valley Railway to Whitby or ride the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, with the heritage steam train taking you on a scenic journey from Whitby to Pickering, visiting beautiful little villages en route, including Goathland which was featured in Harry Potter films and the TV series ‘Heartbeat’. Take in the sights on walking trails at Falling Foss, with its waterfalls in the woodland; the Hole of Horcum, which is a huge valley popular with day trippers; the Cleveland Way walking trail winds its way across the moors and cliff tops, or the panorama from Roseberry Topping.
