Welcome to the Yurtstead. We're excited to host you in a unique stay on Little Pine Lake in Perham, Minnesota. This property includes two spaces, our lakeside Yurt (a circular tent of felt or skins on a collapsible framework, used by nomads in Mongolia, Siberia, and Turkey) that affords you a rustic option with modern chic touches including power, heat, lights, cozy bedding and seating spaces, and a newly constructed shouse that offers one bedroom, a futon, full bathroom shower, kitchen, and dining space. Combined the property offers sleeping for 8 guests. We are situated on a private lot with a beautiful tree cover and slightly rolling hills that offer a beautiful view over Little Pine Lake. We have over 100 feet of lakeshore with a private dock, and public access just a mile away. The property is quite large and there is ample room for additional campers or tents (additional fees may apply). We do have a 50 amp electrical hookup service, however, there is no sewer dump for a camper. Some close by favorites include Zorbaz restaurant, Paul Miller Park, Lakeside Golfcourse, the Perham Bike Path, Arvig Park which features disk golf, brand new pickleball courts, and a dog park, all of which are within 2 miles of this property. Included in this stay are two specialized adult bikes as well as a paddle board and two kids' kayaks.

Upon entering the shouse you’re greeted with an open concept living, dining, and kitchen space. There is a wall unit AC/furnace system, futon, and dining table. The bedroom has a Large Screen TV and a queen bed.

If you love a unique experience this is for you. We’ve situated this yurt nestled in the trees in the perfect spot to have a view of the lake, a stable and windproof/weatherproof warm and cozy stay. The yurt has electricity, along with a bunk bed, sofa, 2 lounge chairs, string lighting, electric heat, and an electric fireplace. You won’t believe the view of the stars and moon in the brand new skylight
The Yard:
We are proud of our yard and hope you enjoy the included firepit and provided lawn chairs (weather dependent) Our dock extends 36 feet into Little Pine Lake. Swimming is possible, but there is a bit of mud and weeds. Lake toy and watercraft rentals are available through Sota Lake Properties in Perham, MN, or a vendor of your choosing.
The home comes fully stocked with all the essentials and supplies needed to accommodate 8 guests including plates, glassware, silverware, bedding, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, and dish soap. We have a full size fridge, microwave toaster, a charcoal and a gas grill, a blender, a crockpot, and a coffee maker. No stove/oven. If you have any questions, please feel free to message us.
