What We Love
Nestled in the sweeping California wilderness and surrounded by the Sierra Mountains, you will find this dazzling forest retreat! The home is a comfortable getaway located a short distance from snow and lakes at Lake Tahoe, Truckee, Donner lake, and Soda Springs. Charming gold rush towns like Colfax, Grassy Valley, and Nevada City are also fun spots to visit.
Enjoy meals and the shared hot tub on the back deck. There is also a large kitchen with all you need for making wonderful meals. In the summer there is a community pool also.
Inside the recently updated walls of your retreat, find a beautiful open floor layout. Lounge in the comfortable living area while tuning into your favorite movie. From here, you can visit with the chef of your family as they cook amongst the kitchen's gleaming marble countertops and high-end appliances. Escalate your cooking by stepping outside and utilizing the shared custom grill before dining alfresco in the outdoor dining space.
Walking through the rest of the home you will notice the true attention to detail that went into its design. Challenge each other to game nights in the loft game room, equipped with a foosball table and a board game collection. Or, head out onto the scenic shared balcony where rocking chairs wait for your enjoyment, soaking in the sweet California sunshine.
Additional interior perks include; comfortable bedding, a private washer/dryer, and provided linens.
Outside, enjoy California at its finest when you dip into the warm waters of the shared hot tub or gather around the dancing flames of the firepit.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Security camera details: Four exterior cameras are on the property: Two in front of each front door, one on the left side of house unit A, and one on the right side of unit B
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
