The perfect getaway for fishing or relaxing with family. This area is known for producing some of the best redfish and speckled trout fishing in the US.
This is a true home away from home! Newly renovated with all the amenities from home. Over 2025 square feet of living with an open floor plan for entertaining. Enter the rustic original pecky cypress porch area where you can relax on the swing or make use of the spacious fish cleaning station. The living/dining/bar area where most of the family fun happens. We have a juke box that plays all the tunes you can imagine from Willie to Waylon to Cajun favorites. The game room area has a cocktail arcade machine with many different games and a card table with a complete set of chips and cards. The family can enjoy game night with many board games as well. The back deck has the most unforgettable sunsets you can imagine. Enjoy cooking on the charcoal grill, relaxing in the Adirondack chairs, and listening to your favorite tunes.
Three bedrooms have queen beds. Two bedrooms have two twin beds each and there is a queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Bathrooms all have showers and the master has a shower/tub combo. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. There are four TVs and two are smart TVs with Netflix And Hulu access and the living room tv has cable. WiFi is available. Below the home is another entertaining space for relaxing, boiling shrimp or crabs, and playing a few games of corn hole. There’s patio furniture and a large outdoor dining table.
Take a morning or evening stroll along the 500ft deck leading to the dock, where there is easy access to great fishing. There is no boat access to the private lake behind the camp. Large culverts under the levee allow the fish to move in and out. If your into fly fishing for redfish, you won’t be disappointed! There is exceptional fishing right behind the camp. Guests are welcome to bring their own kayaks for fishing behind the house. Fishing is not allowed from the boats on the private lake during hunting season Oct. 17-29 and Dec. 19-Jan. 21. However, you can fish from the pier during this time.
Located right across the street from Cecil and Etta Lapeyrouse’s historic store, where you can get all your fishing needs, groceries, and unique finds. Several Charter fisherman are in the area and are available to take you on an unforgettable fishing trip. You can also bring your own boat and launch it right across the street. There is plenty of parking for your boats and guests.
