Summary: I stayed at this cottage with my mom, sister and my infant son for the weekend. It was a lovely stay. Pros: The cottage is bigger than expected from the photos. It was clean, fully updated and aesthetically pleasing. The check in process was seamless. I preferred how door was locked and unlocked. Using an app on my phone. This made the check in process very convenient. All kitchen items are labelled to their corresponding cabinets. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more the labeling, made it quick and easy to find what we were looking for as well as return items to their correct place. There is a detached garage that has been converted into a games room. It is with a pool table, TV and multiple games. The rooms in the cottage were quite soundproof. And my son was able to sleep in the master bedroom off the kitchen while we were up late in the tv room with no issues. The beds were comfortable. All the linen was fresh and clean. The view is absolutely beautiful. Saw beautiful sunrises each morning. The hot tub is clean and user-friendly in regards to Bluetooth speaker and jet/temperature control. Feedback It would’ve been nice to have blackout curtains in the two bedrooms that face east. Due to the lack of black out curtains my son was up hours earlier than normal. Though the kitchen was clean, after cooking on the stove, top, a gas/ propane smell lingered, even with the fan on for hours after. This caused some unease. There was some cooking buildup on the largest burner on the stove top. Perhaps this is what was causing the smell. We lucked out with unusually warm weather for our stay in May however, we were unable to fully enjoy the backyard due to all the geese poop and the uncapped grass. It would’ve been nice, knowing guess we’re renting the cottage and the lovely forecast, for the grass to be cut and some of the patio furniture out. The geese poop was everywhere. I was unable to let my son play on the grass or on the concrete pad overlooking the water. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for hosting us.
