That’s what’s in store for guests of Villa Half Moon, a unique customer designed Villa that’s situated on a ridge overlooking the West coast of Barbados - this location does mean that whole the Villa is overlooking the ocean it does not have direct access to the beach, access is a short drive away.

The Villa boasts a half moon crescent shape which offers optimal enjoyment of the view from all rooms on the house. It features ivy covered Italian style columns and arches, adding an extra element of luxury and opulence.

As you enter the home through the central entryway you’re lead into the open plan living room, which of course overlooks the garden, the infinity pool and the ocean. This is the ideal place to nestle up in the morning with a fresh juice and coffee as you plan your day, and it’s even more stunning come night time as the sun sets over the ocean.

The rest of the rooms are dotted around the Villa, the master bedroom is located at the northern tip of the crescent, opening on to a small terrace that has access to the pool deck. The en-suite has a soaking sub and an open air shower - no shower you’ve ever had will be as glorious as this one. Two of the other bedrooms are also in the northern curve, each with an en-suite bathroom and an open air shower. If travelling with children it’s ideal to note the master bedroom can inter-connect with one of the other rooms in this curve.

The fourth bedroom and en-suite are in the southern curve, along with an open plan dining room, indoor garden and a large, well-equipped kitchen. Having the option to create feasts filled with local specialities adds to the allure, and who doesn’t want to enjoy a local meal while overlooking the ocean?

The outdoors area is incredibly dreamy, taking full advantage of the unobstructed view. Whether you’re swimming in the pool, or topping up your tan on the sun loungers that surround the pool; there’s something for everyone.
