This is a fabulous Tuscany castle available to rent for holidays and special events. Sleeping between 15 and 20 people, it boasts 11 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms. This unique Tuscany villa rental is set on a hillside overlooking the River Pesa valley. It is just 15 minutes from Florence and enjoys great views over the countryside below. Outside, there is a stunning swimming pool whilst inside, the interior is rather magical.
The Space:
Originally a Medieval feudal castle, this Tuscany castle was converted to a villa between 1450 and 1500. As you would expect, it is steeped in history and is a fascinating place to spend a holiday in this wonderful part of Tuscany. The property is divided into two main sections - The Conventino and Torre - with a large central hall between the two.
Within the Conventino of this Tuscany castle, there is a master bedroom suite with both living area and ensuite bathrooms. In addition, there are five further double bedrooms and two single bedrooms in this part of the property. Three of the double bedrooms also have their own ensuite bathrooms whilst the remaining bedrooms share two bathrooms between them. There is a small living room in this part of the villa.
Across in the Torre of this Tuscany castle, there is an entrance hall, dining room with wonderful fireplace, kitchen, utility room, large living area and loggia facing the swimming pool. There is also a second master bedroom suite with private bathroom as well as another double bedroom with ensuite bathroom. These two bedrooms share a living area.
Please note that this Tuscany castle tends to stay cool inside thanks to its incredibly thick walls. However, portable air conditioning units are installed in eight of the bedrooms for guests that wish to use air conditioning during their stay.
Please note that rental rates are for groups of up to 15 people. Additional guests are charged at 50 euros per person per day up to a maximum of 20 people. Cleaning can be provided at a charge of 18 euros per hour. Extra services can also be provided including the preparation of breakfast or lunch (140 euros for up to 15 people) and the preparation of a 4 course meal (370 euros for up to 15 people). Rates exclude the actual costs of the food and drink. We can also offer a waitress service and ironing service. Utilities are included in the price (water, gas, electricity). Pool maintenance, linen change, towels and final cleaning are also included. Please note that a local tourist tax of 3 euros per person per night is payable locally on arrival in cash.
