Found in the backroads of Tamarindo's jungle, is this nature inspired 3 bedroom home with a private swimming pool, allowing for optimal outdoor/indoor living. After enjoying the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo which is only 3 km away, bathe in pure serenity in this property surrounded by mature trees, and observe various animals including iguanas, tropical birds, and howler monkeys who call this home! Walk into this newly designed home away from home that maximizes outdoor living, yet with all the modern amenities.
Set in the backroads of Tamarindo, in an area called Los Jobos, at the end of a cul-de-sac, families and friends alike will be able to experience what Costa Rica is known for. Be ready to immerse yourselves in the jungle and even have the chance to encounter some wildlife!
This property has 3 bedrooms, all equipped with king beds. The master is on the main level with its own full bathroom and TV, looking out at the treetops and over the salt water pool. The other 2 bedroom can be found on the lower floor, 1 with an ensuite bathroom and the other has a full bathroom just around the corner. The two bedrooms are connected with an additional seating area with a TV and a door to walkout to the pool area with gorgeous deck and seating area.
The main living area, along with the dining area is open to the outdoor air, on the main floor. Off this area is the full kitchen perfect for any chefs in the group to entertain. This kitchen can be enclosed; however, the owners love opening up this area to the outdoors with glass doors that fully open up, when desired. Around the corner from the kitchen is the washer/dryer combo.
If this is not enough, there is a bonus pergola/terrace on top of the house with additional seating. This area looks out to the valley below with even a peak-a-boo view of the ocean, which is more noticeable during summer months. With all of these features and only being 3 km away from the busy streets of Tamarindo, make this the perfect spot for groups that want to feel like they are part of the Costa Rican jungle!
Guests have access to all areas of the home. We have some areas closed (such a pool area and a cabinet for storage), however, every other area is yours to explore!
On occasion especially during drought season, the area experiences scheduled water conservation periods, where guests may experience some water shortage and in severe circumstances unannounced water shut offs. This property does have large water reservoir tanks, so the interruption should be minimal. If, however, you feel it is out of the ordinary, please let us know so that we can assess it.
Please note a maintenance person will occasionally be there to maintain the grounds and the pool - twice a week.
Your are in the middle of the jungle, thus please expect little critters may come and visit. Please leave food well packaged and in the fridge to keep these friends out.
Also, due to the location certain network carriers may not work, so please plan accordingly. Please be sure to have downloaded any check-in instructions and maps that you may require.
Finally, the backroads of Tamarindo had been repaired. However, during certain times of the years, after rainy season, for example, the roads can be quite bumpy. SUVs or cars with similar clearance will make the travel a bit easier.
