From our home, you can take Main Street directly across the river to enjoy Jacksonville's downtown entertainment district with fantastic venues, from the TIAA Bank Stadium, home of the NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars, to the Daily's Center, the Florida Theatre, or the Tines Union Theatre, all of which host amazing concerts and sports events throughout the year.
Our downtown Jacksonville area is home to a number of great local breweries and distilleries, and craft food and art districts that make our area a cultural hotspot in the region. You will love it here.

We are less than a mile from MOSH - the Museum of Science and History, and 5 minutes from the Cummer Art Gallery and Gardens. The Cummer Art Gallery is truly a must-see attraction for your time in Jacksonville. It has a rich legacy in the local area, a wonderful collection of art from across the ages, and a beautiful 2.5 acre riverfront garden to enjoy on a free afternoon overlooking the St. John's River.
A little further but still less than 15 minutes away is the Jacksonville Zoo, which, being something of Zoo aficionados ourselves, we must say is a great little zoo. The University of North Florida, is a 15 minute drive, and the Mayo Clinic is 20 minutes away
Another lovely little hidden gem is the Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens. It is a great outdoor spot to enjoy with the family, with hiking trails, lakes, and a great place to while away the day enjoying a geo-cache adventure or two.
Our chic, updated unit comes equipped with a King bed, a fully outfitted kitchen, and a living room with a sleeper sofa, so the place can comfortably accommodate up to four. Smart TV with WiFi (we offer YouTube TV and LG Channels, but as for Netflix, Prime, Disney+, etc feel free to bring your streaming passwords). You’ll have everything you need to enjoy your time here. Plus high-speed WiFi, hassle-free self - check-in, free parking, a washer and dryer in the unit, and near a ton of restaurants, hospitals, and shoppes. We’ve got everything you need for your trip to our beautiful city.

It’s the perfect neighborhood for enjoying family-friendly activities (like exploring nearby museums, parks, and waterways) and heading out for late-night snacks, drinks, and live music! In addition, you’re only minutes away from major hospitals and event centers like TIAA Bank Field for concerts and football games.
Getting around in Jacksonville does typically require a ride. The immediate area around the flat has some great restaurants and shops within walking distance, but there are great little pockets of walkable shopping and nightlife that can be reached with a 5-minute Uber ride or drive.
We are pet friendly and charge $25 per night per pet for short term stays. For longer stays, we charge $150 per week and $300 per month per pet. If you plan to bring a pet when booking with us, please inform us in advance. The fee for pets is non-negotiable for any animal.
Events/parties are strictly prohibited and will result in a $1000 fine. A party / event is in effect any time the guest count exceeds either the maximum allowable on the property or the number of guests booked.
The following additional charges apply to late check outs/early arrivals, assuming we can offer this at all (I often can’t so please never assume this will be allowed):
1 hr or less early arrival or late departure: $25
1-2 hr early arrival/late departure: $50
2-3 hr early arrival/late departure: $75
3+ hr early arrival/late departure: $100 or the cost of an additional night’s stay, whichever is more
These fees are primarily in place to highly discourage late checkouts/early arrivals since this causes my cleaning service undue stress to prep the unit prior to your or the next set of guest’s arrival. This also increases the need for them to rush/cut corners, increasing the likelihood of them not cleaning the unit to the high standard which I hold them to.
We have a smart thermostat in this home and do limit temperatures to the following ranges to reduce our environmental impact:
Summer - 70 to 85 degrees F
Winter - 60 to 75 degrees F
***Finally, smoking is strictly forbidden anywhere on the property - inside the property or in any outdoor areas***
***If we find cigar/cigarette butts of any kind on the property or evidence of smoking (ash on flat surfaces, empty cigarette packs, etc.) we will assess a $250 cleaning fee in addition to the regular cleaning fee***
