Theresa's House is situated in the most idyllic surroundings of Blefoutis Bay, rugged mountains rising up behind the house and the bright blue Aegean Sea in front, with a path winding down through the olive grove to a tiny beach with beautiful safe swimming and hardly ever a person to be seen.
The house has two separated parts, perfect for two families or a group of friends up to 8 persons who love the open countryside and being away from noise and activities.
The stone house was finished in June 2023, personally designed by Theresa to give maximum comfort but in a simple and elegant way and with plenty of outdoor verandas with amazing views.
Every element of the house is beautifully, thoughtfully designed and is an incredible sanctuary from real life. Each house has a separate entrance and both can accommodate up to 4 persons. One has a double bedroom and two sleeping couches and one has a double bedroom and one twin bedroom with 2 soda beds. Each have a kitchen/kitchenette and each a bathroom. Both have their own terrace with comfortable cushioned benches. There is an additional separate lounge terrace in front for everyone to use.
The house is purely eco friendly with hot water and electricity supplied by the sun. A large sterna collects the winter water but there is always municipal water to hand when needed. The olives are grown organically and are now producing superior extra virgin oil.
This is a dream place for a truly relaxing and carefree holiday.
For those who love exploring and walking the island is especially beautiful and green with an abundance of wild flowers from March till June
Blefoutis Bay is a beautiful bay on the Greek island of Leros. It is located on the north side of the island, about 6 kilometers from the town of Alinda. The bay is surrounded by pine trees and cliffs, and the water is crystal clear.
It is a popular destination for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. Only a 10 minute walk takes you to one of the best Tavernas on the island and a 10 minute drive in the car brings you to Supermarket, bakery, a fruit and veg shop.
If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing beach vacation, Blefoutis Bay is a great option. The bay is not as crowded yet as some of the other beaches on Leros, and it is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
