The Space:
Boasting 3 bedrooms with queen size beds upstairs and a fully self-contained 2-bedroom apartment downstairs, it's not only the accommodation that will win you over. It's the expansive, open plan living areas that make this home a real showstopper. Entertaining from the well-appointed kitchen will be a breeze, with an open flow allowing you to move freely throughout the top floor.
With a rear deck with BBQ, and a front deck with table and chairs there enough room to separate yourself from the kids or the in-laws.
Guest Access:
Guests will have full and private use of the house during their stay. We are locals and can be contacted when needed.
The Neighborhood:
The neighborhood surrounding the property offers a relaxing atmosphere while still providing the necessities of inner city living.
A great kids beach is just 10 minutes away at Howrah Beach by the Sunshine Tennis Courts.
In Bellerive, just a short drive away (12 minutes), there are many cafes and restaurants as well as the famous Blundstone Arena where domestic and international cricket and Australian Football (AFL) is played.
There is a beach and play park only 8 minutes drive away from the property (Bellerive Beach Park Playground, 3 Derwent Avenue, Bellerive). There is plenty of space for children to play or to relax in the sunshine.
There is a small corner store (Howrah Point Store, 78 Howrah Road) that does takeaways and sells groceries. The closest major supermarket is Woolworths Supermarket at the Shoreline Shopping Centre and Hotel, a 5-minute drive from the property. Eastland’s Shopping Centre is the largest Shopping Centre in Tasmania with over 90 stores is only 10-minute drive away.
The entire house is available for guests to enjoy and use! As the house is very large for 4 guests or less the bottom level of the house will be locked off.
Please note the property is waterfront and unfenced. Please take this consideration when booking with young children.
Getting Around:
To fully experience the best of Hobart and surrounding areas its better to have a vehicle. There is a bus stop right down the road, with a bus service that travels in to the city if you would rather use public transport
