The Farmhouse Retreat is located close to downtown Joshua Tree, in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood that features open desert and mountain views. We’re slightly removed from the city center (12 minute drive) so there’s no light pollution...meaning you can enjoy the most incredible stargazing + a peaceful environment. Get in touch with the desert nature - keep an eye out for jackrabbits, roadrunners, and foxes that frequent the property!

- Summer in the desert gets very hot. Our cooling unit will be running 24/7 during the summer - keeping the house temperate, but it will not blast cold air.
- Little desert creatures may find their way into the house if you leave the doors open, especially during the summer! Please shut the doors or bugs will find their way in, especially in the summer and especially at night.
- Our hot tub is professionally serviced weekly and heated upon arrival. Please make sure to secure the hot tub cover after use. Damage to the hot tub and / or failure to cover the hot tub after checkout will result in a fine. Please be respectful and this won't be an issue :)
- Note that we have a security camera monitoring the outside of our home. This video footage is not shared and is recorded for liability reasons and in no way infringes upon your expectations of privacy in these public areas of the property.
- Use of hot tub, hammocks, bocce ball court, observation deck, and/or fireplace carries risk that may result in serious injury or death, and unsupervised use by children is prohibited. Elderly persons, pregnant women, infants and anyone subject to heart disease, diabetes, low or high blood pressure, strokes, epilepsy or similar afflictions should not enter a spa alone and without consulting their physician. Never use a spa while under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If you are taking medication of any kind, or being treated for any illness, consult your physician prior to use of spa. Spa should be kept at a temperature less than 104˚ for personal safety. Do not walk on spa cover or it will collapse. Bathers should shower immediately after use.
