Oneonta offers the Joseph L. Popp Butterfly Conservancy; Harpursville has Animal Adventures. Want something different? The Unadilla Drive-In is 5 miles away. Kayak rentals are available over the hill at The Tall Pines Campground and in Wells Bridge, just 10 miles up route 7. East Sidney Lake, where you can boat, swim or just hang out on the beach, 13 miles.
Ice cream stand is only a mile away, groceries and gas not far. The Muddy River Brewery is across the river about 3 miles.
The Space:
2023 The tent is enclosed with board, batten, windows and locking door, opening Memorial Day weekend. Our campsite over looks The Susquehanna River Valley. The site is over a 1/4 mile from any road and protected by evergreen trees. 4 Bars on your cell phone. Please go to TENTRR.com for extras. Our site includes a hot water bathroom, solar kit (led lights, fans, phone charging), charcoal grill, Coleman Propane Grill, Bluetooth speaker, covered deck, carpet and memory foam mattresses.
Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!
Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night.
Group Camping: We welcome campers with larger parties, but the standard Tentrr setup only includes the canvas tent plus the additional pop-up dome tent. You may need and are encouraged to bring additional camping gear of your own if you plan on camping with a large party.
Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

You can walk or mountain bike the trails which are marked. You can also play Disc Golf, Horseshoes. walk along the creek or sit by the pond. We now have a dog cable run. Please do not drive in the field .

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.
If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
