Come for relaxation and respite at our hobby farm nestled in the foothills of Amboy, only an hour drive from Portland. Access to boating, kayaking, or swimming at Lake Merwin is 15 minutes away. A brief country drive will have you off exploring the wonders of Mt. St. Helens' South side including the Ape Cave lava tube (24 miles) or Lava Canyon (34 miles). Other sites to see in North Clark County include Pomeroy Farm, Chelatchie Prarie Railroad, North Clark Historical Museum, and the Cedar Creek Grist Mill. Close by hiking is variable in degree including ease of access to Lucia or Moulton Falls to lengthier hikes at Bells Mountain or Tarbell with views of Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge. Or simply rest your day away with a good book and the sounds of farm life.
Main Canvas Tent has a Queen bed with a comfy mattress. Enjoy this all to yourself or put the kiddos on the carpeted floor in their sleeping bags. Your reservation includes a Dome camping tent that can comfortably fit 3 -4 adults or 6 kiddos. Bring an extra tent or two for spreading your campsite love! Contact us directly to ask questions about sleeping arrangements and extra guests. Take a look at the extras if you are wanting to add some simplification to your packing, increase your glamping experience, and be comfy. We also have treats and fun stuff listed in our extras. Does your crew have a RV/Camper and want to join you? RV/Camper hook up add on is an extra option.
The restroom includes a composting toilet and hot water on demand shower system. The site does not have any electricity. Cell service is limited. Sometimes you may be able to get Wi-Fi and we will share the password.
Pet guests are welcomed however make sure you select the Pet Fee extra. Pets must remain on leash or teether. Pets may not be left unattended and you must clean up after them. Pet weight limit is 35lbs. Pet limit is two. Remember we are a working farm and the camp site is on our duck pond. Please keep our ducks and the wild rabbits safe.

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!
Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.
Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Do ask for a farm tour - don't open any livestock gates or cages. Farm tour is included with your reservation!
Don't leave food out to attract the unwanted wildlife. Trust me those raccoons love food!
Please, please, please don't feed the ducks bread, chips, heck any type of carbs - they like salads and greens instead!
Again, this is a farm. On occasion you will hear coyotes. Sometimes our livestock dogs may simply just not shut up. There is a fan and ear plugs to hopefully calm any of that unpleasantness.
Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.
If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable).
