The popular area of St Marychurch is also less than 4 miles by car and is home to a range of shops, restaurants and cafes. The Babbacombe Downs are also just a 10 min drive from the cottage and not to be missed. The pretty coastal village of Maidencombe is also just a 15 minute drive from the cottage and has a beautiful beach and award winning pub - The Thatched Tavern. Compton Castle, a National Trust fortified manor house, is close by with Paignton Zoo less than 15 minutes away.
