This condo is nestled in the ponderosas above the Deschutes River on the edge of Bend where you can walk downtown within minutes or escape into the wilderness directly from the doorstep. The floor-to-ceiling windows grant you the feeling of being out with the hawks that soar above while snuggling down into the cozy new couch.
The condo's ultra-vaulted ceilings provide a very spacious feel to the living areas. Walking in the front door will immediately welcome you into the roomy dining and living room, which has ample room for hosting at the kitchen bar. The entire second floor is dedicated to a master suite with a large soaking tub, huge walk-in closet, and personal deck with an expansive view of the river. Each of the 3 bedrooms has a queen or king bed and is coupled with personal full bathrooms and TVs. The main deck overlooking the Deschutes River canyon holds a hot tub and BBQ and acts as the perfect place for coffee in the morning while watching the Golden Eagles swoop high above. Finally, there is an incredible pool on the property with access to 2 hot tubs, an additional small kid pool, and outdoor grilling stations. This pool is open to Mt. Bachelor Village guests only from 9am - 10pm during the summer months.
This condo itself is very nice and will quickly become home, but where it truly stands out is the access it provides to all that Bend has to offer. Central Oregon is perfect for any type of outdoor lover; from the extreme sports of rock climbing and mountain biking to the mellow sports of river floating and fly fishing, this place is truly world-class in it all. Meanwhile, the city of Bend is renowned for small-batch breweries, coffee roasteries, and an emerging restaurant scene. The town comes alive with large concerts at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater and numerous festivals and small shows on a nightly basis.
