Villa Aguas in Guia is set amongst the peaceful and beautifully maintained gardens of Quinta Dos Alamos 5 minutes walk from the town of Guia. Villa Aguas is a very unique property for rental as it is furnished and designed to a very high standard making it a perfect retreat for family or friends for that special celebration or just an indulgent holiday.
THE LIVING AREAS
The front entrance opens onto a hallway with adjacent guest toilet. This leads through an archway into the large lounge where there is a comfortable contemporary leather sofa to relax on or watch the flat LCD widescreen TV, DVD, sky package with planner, movies and sports channels and full Wi-Fi access. This is the heart of the home from which all the other rooms lead. The lounge leads directly to the open plan kitchen/dining area. This space is divided by a modern breakfast bar. There is access through patio doors to the extensive outside living/dining space which has a table and chairs and seating area which can be closed into a conservatory. This is a peaceful seated area from which you can enjoy the morning and evening sun. This terrace leads directly to the heated pool and patio/pergola area.
THE KITCHEN
The dining kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge/freezer. It offers everything from preparing a snack to a formal dinner for a group of friends. There is a granite dining/breakfasting bar which can seat 4. The kitchen leads directly to an outside BBQ area. There is also a built in washing machine facility for guest's use.
THE BEDROOMS
The master bedroom is a large, light room with direct access to the magnificent hot tub, pool and pergola area through the patio doors. There is a King sized bed and ample wardrobe space with built in safe. There is a bathroom/shower room adjacent. The second bedroom is opposite and fills with natural light and has its own access to the swimming pool through separate patio doors. This bedroom consists of 2 single beds and ample wardrobe space.
Both bedrooms have a hairdryer.
BATHROOMS
The bathroom within the villa is finished to the highest standards with modern fittings and large walk in shower. There bathroom was fully refurbished in January 2018. There is also a guest toilet adjacent to the front door of the villa. Fresh towels are provided throughout your stay.
OUTSIDE AREAS
The outside area of Villa Aguas provides a number of different spaces to enjoy during your stay in the Algarve. The poolside area is bathed in sun from morning until sunset. Shading from the sun is provided via the large pergola. The front patio or alfresco dining area can provide sun or shade in equal measures. You can enjoy hours on a sun lounger or retreat under the pergola to enjoy your well earned siesta in the shade. There is a built in BBQ area adjacent to the kitchen which comes fully equipped with alfresco dining utensils and BBQ accessories. There are other exterior spaces to enjoy as the villa is surrounded by a wall which provides ample privacy and security. The villa is private and access is through a lockable front gate which opens onto the tiled entrance area. With external lighting throughout you can enjoy your evening swim or cocktail hour. The fabulous swimming pool can be illuminated at night and can be heated in the winter and provides the perfect place to soak up the hot sun. The large pool is 6.00m x 4.00m with a depth of 0.9m - 1.80m. The heated hot tub is included in the rental cost. The outdoor furnishings are equally in keeping with the quality of the interior. Within the pool area there are plenty of sun beds and outdoor seating. There is a shower area adjacent to the pool.
There is parking outside the villa.
Health & Safety.
We have an English speaking villa manager called Carol who lives locally and can be contacted 24/7. Carol can make arrangements if you need to see a doctor, dentist, physiotherapist, lawyer, police, British Consulate etc. We also have an excellent pharmacy in Guia who give advice and treatment for minor ailments.
Our villa has been accredited with a Tourism License by the Albufeira Municipal Department of Tourism, which ensures that the villa complies with the required standards of accommodation and safety. Lic 2009825.
The villa is inspected every year and checks are made on fire safety equipment, first aid kit, gas, ventilation, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
The solar water system is checked and serviced yearly by RX Solar. Tap water is safe to drink and cook with although drinking bottled water is recommended.
The villa has mosquito nets fitted on all doors and windows.
The swimming pool and hot tub is cleaned professionally twice a week.
The villa is cleaned and maintained to the highest standard.
Cot mattresses are replaced twice a year.
All bedding and pillows have protectors which are changed between clients.
It is important to remember, especially when travelling with children, to take a few minutes to familiarise yourself and your party with the pool area on arrival. Non slip tiles surround the pool and outside space but please take care when walking with wet feet. Children must always be accompanied by an adult in the pool area. On arrival the villa manager will demonstrate the operation of the pool cover. Guests are requested to abide by all safety instructions when operating the swimming pool cover.
SECURITY
Villa Aguas is set amongst its own private grounds and surrounded by a wall.
Access to the property is through a locked gate. We ask that you keep the gates locked.
The villa is alarmed and the alarm is maintained and monitored by a private security company.
If the alarm is activated the villa manager is notified. She will then contact the guests before deciding whether the security company is required to attend.
All doors, gates and windows lock securely. Internal door keys can also be requested.
The villa has a safe for valuables.
