Summary: We stayed for one week in late December as a family of four with two kids aged 3 and 6. The home was more than enough space for our small group and the additional outdoor space was great. We appreciated the safety fence around the pool, given the ages of our children. Heating the pool was a must at this time of year so we paid the extra fee for this and would recommend the same to other guests staying during winter months. Note that the pool entry area is not very shallow - water level was above both our kids heads within a step away from the stairs. At the time of our stay, there were some pool toys available for guest use, including water wings, which made for much enjoyment of the pool despite the depth. We didn't use the foosball table. The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, meaning there isn't much within a walkable distance (aside from a new craft brew store/pub around the corner - worth checking out!) but, as advertised, many major attractions are a short drive away (e.g., Desert Botanical Garden, Phoenix Zoo, Hole-in-Rock, Old Town Scottsdale). James was quick to respond to the few questions we had during our stay. If we return to Scottsdale, we will stay here again.
