Club Aquarium is set in the midst of pine forests, just a short walk from Cala Vadella cove, one of the most beautiful bays on the island. Cala Vadella is a protected cove with a shallow, sandy beach and intense blue, crystal clear water. Club Aquarium is in the green and peaceful coastal area of the southwest part of Ibiza and the setting for beautiful sunsets. The whole area around us has some of the best beaches to explore and of course there's Es Vedra (with the stunning Cala D'Hort beach) but we have found Cala Vadella to be one the most beautiful of them all. Wherever you go the sunsets can be absolutely incredible. We have spent a lot of our time in Ibiza exploring all the beaches and off-track paths around the island and we are always stunned by the beauty and diversity of every beach and road we take. There is a great printed guide to beaches in the apartment and we have also recommended some of our favourites. On Cala Vadella beach there is a diving centre and a boat rental service; there are also clothes shops, beach beds and sunchairs, a supermarket, childrens play area and pedallos. The apartment is situated a few minutes walk down a beautiful mature lined avenue to the magical cove and the walk itself gives great views of the mountains, villas and coastline. The restaurants cater for all types of tastes and budgets overlooking the beach. The bars and restaurants are open well into the night. It is a very popular holiday place with a relaxed atmosphere that encourages people to get to know each other and to make friends. Ibiza has such a peaceful environment with beautiful natural landscapes and its easy to get in the car and take trips to discover the beauty of the island. Cala Vadella is famous for its magnificent sunsets and its shallow water, making it an ideal place for children to swim in. Club Aquarium is surrounded by pine trees with stunning mountain views which light up as the sun sets. Our apartment itself overlooks the natural and mature forest with views of the hill/mountain tops, it is breathtaking and very peaceful! It is the perfect place for a holiday and great for families with children. Club Aquarium has its own facilities including a swimming pool, childrens pool, restaurant, tennis court and a games room and supermarket. There are 3 supermarkets within walking distance of the apartment. The one in Club Aquarium and on the beach are open in the summer months typically from 15th May - 15th October. There is free undesignated parking at Club Aquarium. Unlimited WIFI is available at the apartment. There is also WIFI access available at the club aquarium reception for 5 euros for 5 hours and at most bars and restaurants which are within walking distance of the apartment. We have a travel cot which also doubles as a play area. It has a removable mattress and detachable toys. The size is H76, L125, W65cm and its suitable from birth and for babies up to 15kg.The avenues are well looked after - lined with mature flowering plants and trees and the location feels very serene. This is the avenue which leads down to the beach. From the apartment its a 5-7 minute regular walk to the beach and a slow 10 minute walk - you head out of the apartment and turn right and walk 50 yards to the end of our road. Then you turn right again and walk about 100 yards out of Club Aquarium. Then its about 300 yards down the beach either via the steps or the road. The walk is really beautiful as you pass flowers, villas, trees, cats and mountain views. There is morning sun on a large terrace where you can sit and relax. We have also included a flat screen TV with access to British television via satellite, international television news and radio stations for music. There is also a DVD player with lots of recent movies and tv dramas on DVD. We have a hairdryer. The drive to and from Cala Vadella is nearly as stunning as the protected cove itself as you get to see stunning views of Ibiza's coastline and mountain ranges. The apartment is approx.20 km from Ibiza airport which takes approx. 20-25 minutes and is approx 30 euros with a taxi or hire cars are available from the airport. We recommend looking on the website Doyouspain. com for good deals on car hire. Look out for Es Vedra on the way to the apartment. San Antonio is approx. 17 km from Cala Vadella and there is the pretty local town called San Josep which has cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. There is also a local bus service from the beach to various parts of Ibiza if you don't have a car and want to explore the island this way. The pool is normaly open from 15/05 until 15/10.We do not charge for early morning or late night check in's as we know that flights to and from Ibiza can sometimes be at odd hours.
