The Retreat at Valley View offers two main structures both newly built in 2020 and both with wrap-around porches, immersing your senses in the serenity of the hill country. The views across the valley from inside the large gathering room are drop-dead gorgeous! The main building features a full kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and tons of seating inside and out. This 875 sq ft room is perfect for family reunions, weddings, holidays, corporate retreats and more. Separate from the gathering room, across the breezeway, is a beautiful bathroom featuring a large walk-in shower. These newly constructed structures offer a standing seam roof which is a necessity for the wide variety of weather the hill country is famous for. The second building is a perfectly designed bunkhouse consisting of two separate rooms, allowing family-friendly sleeping for a total of eight. One bunk room has four twin-sized bunk beds and the other has a queen and two bunks. Each bunk room has its own coffee bar area. The bunkrooms share a Jack & Jill style common bathroom with a unique trough-like sink and a large walk-in shower. The full-length covered porch of the bunkhouse offers the same great views as the main room and a way for guests to take a personal break from the main gathering. The Retreat at Valley View offers a 16-foot-high observation deck with views you will never tire of and is a wonderful place to enjoy a beverage with friends while gazing at the Texas starry, starry night!

Things to be aware of:
1. The accommodation includes two buildings for guests use- the Gathering Room and the Bunkhouse. The Gathering Room includes a full kitchen, dining areas, and a living area in addition to a full bathroom that is on the other side of a breezeway. The Bunkhouse features two full bedrooms and a full bathroom. Both buildings are less than 6 feet from each other.
2. In order to reach the Gathering Room's full bathroom, you must exit the main area of the Gathering Room (where the kitchen, dining area, and living areas are) and cross a breezeway.
3. You are renting a cabin in the Hill Country, which means you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Racoons, ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, and take caution while driving at night. You may also encounter the various bugs, spiders, scorpions and mice that live in the country AND sometimes do make their way inside. All properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.
4. Fireworks, ATVs, firearms, and large gatherings, events, or parties held at the property are strictly prohibited. Failure to comply will result in a $250 fine.
