“Sawmill Retreat” is nestled amongst the small town of Sawmill Settlement and at the base of Mt Buller.
Situated amongst the native trees and the green grasses at the base of the Alpine State Forest and only a stone throw from the infamous Mt Buller mountain, which stands 1805 meters above sea level.
Whatever your reason for your next trip away, feeling adventurous, wanting to explore the nearby monument’s, learning to snow ski during the winter months, hike, mountain bike ride, sight-see the amazing views of Craig’s Hut, have a picnic or even a BBQ, swim down by the water’s edge of the Delatite river, catch up with family and friends and appreciate some quality time together.
Enjoy the chair lift on Mt Buller all year round, even during the non-snow seasons months, it’s still open.
The views are breathtaking all the way up and down Mt Buller.

Sawmill Retreat is fully self-contained, it offers an abundance of morning and afternoon light filled living spaces. Front and rear decking with BBQ available.
This split level home, opens up to open plan living then steps up into 3 generous sized bedrooms, a dry room with heating, separate laundry with commercial grade washer and dryer. There is a separate second rest room, and spacious bathroom with corner shower and 6 jet spa bath, large mirrored wall, hairdryer and a vanity with storage for all your toiletries.
(Bath mats, hand towels and pump soaps are also provided)
There is a large spacious modern kitchen, with loads of crockery and cutlery, quality chef appliances (oven and stove top), dishwasher and microwave, toaster and even a jaffle maker to cook up some quick toasties and settle back and enjoy the tranquil ambience.
For the coffee pod lovers, bring your coffee pods of choice along too. Enjoy the quality “Lavazza” coffee pod machine on offer.
Make those sweet smelling pancakes for breakfast. Sit at the large dining table sharing stories and daily ideas.

The open plan living room adjoins the kitchen and the dining area, with oak timber floorboards throughout.
The lounge room boasts a large screen television, DVD player, video player and also a stereo/radio with inbuilt cd player.
There is a 3 seater/double pull out sofa bed, that can sleep 2 more guests, nearby is the wood fire heater. Truly beautiful.
Also for extra seating there is a large modular plush couch to sit back in.
Offering DVD’s to watch and be entertained, board games, books to read, toys, there’s even a dart board to indulge every guest.
All the bedrooms offer comfortable configuration’s.
A bedrooms are carpeted for your underfoot comfort and offering inbuilt wardrobes with large mirrors to suit and side table lamps.

Bedroom 1 boasts a solid queen sized bed, wall heater, extra door hooks for the snuggy or dressing gown if you like to bring them along too. (Sleeps 2)
Bedroom 2 is of Asian influence, offering a very comfortable queen sized bed, wall heating and ample storage for those longer stays.
This bedroom has a large window that overlooks the pleasant street view.

Bedroom 3 is a single bed retreat, offering 2 single bunks with guard rails on the top bunks. Board games and other toys are at hand.

This stunning home has easy to use modern appliances, comfortable bedding and an open plan living space with a fire wood heater (firewood is supplied) with separate sitting spaces for some time out amongst guest.
Sawmill Retreat can accommodate upto 10 guests more that comfortably and is great not only for the weekend away, but also for the longer holiday breaks as well.
With yard access from all around, a driveway that drives right up to the rear of the property, you will sure feel safe with leaving your recreational toys where they are safe and secure.
