Rustic Way | Kabine in McArthur

Rustic Way is a cozy two-story cabin surrounded by trees and peaceful countryside, offering plenty of space to relax, spend time together, and enjoy the outdoors. Located just minutes from Hocking Hills, the cabin is also within walking distance of the shared pond.
The main level features an open kitchen and living area, comfortable bedrooms, a full bathroom, and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Step outside to enjoy the large hot tub, grill, and wooded surroundings.
The basement is where the fun happens! Guests can enjoy a pool table, mini air hockey table, poker table, TV, and additional lounging space — giving everyone room to spread out and enjoy some time together.
A door in the basement provides direct access to the hot tub and backyard, making it easy to go from game night downstairs to relaxing outside.
Rustic Way comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests and is a great option for families, friends, or anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with a little extra space and plenty to do.
There are two other properties along the pond, but all cabin guests are welcome to enjoy it. Feel free to fish, walk around the pond, explore the area, or use the kayaks located at the front of the pond. Please note that kayaks are shared and may be in use by other guests.

Grill & Firewood: A grill is provided, but propane is not. Guests may purchase their own propane locally. Previous guests occasionally leave tanks behind, but this cannot be guaranteed. Firewood is not provided, but guests are welcome to bring their own or purchase it locally.
Extermination/Insects: Our cabin is located in a rural, wooded area. As a result, insects and other wildlife may occasionally be seen in or around the cabin. Our cabin is professionally exterminated on a regular basis, but the surrounding natural environment means occasional visitors are possible.
Water & Septic: The property uses a well. Due to the natural mineral content, the water may occasionally have an odor. We recommend bringing bottled water if you prefer not to drink well water. The septic system is effective, but please do not flush feminine hygiene products or other non-flushable items.
Power Outages: If the power goes out due to weather-related conditions, guests will not be reimbursed for their stay.
Roadway & Weather Conditions: Guests are responsible for monitoring weather conditions in the area before and during their stay. Hosts are not responsible for towing expenses or the inconvenience of becoming stuck due to road or weather conditions.
Guest Concerns & Maintenance
We want you to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. If you notice a maintenance issue, cleanliness concern, missing item, or other problem with the property, please report it during your stay, preferably upon arrival or when the issue first occurs.
We can only address issues that are brought to our attention. Reporting a concern during your stay gives us the opportunity to inspect the issue and make reasonable efforts to correct it while you are still at the cabin.
Because we need the opportunity to address concerns during the stay, refund requests for issues that were not reported until after checkout may not be considered. When a concern is reported during the stay, we will make reasonable efforts to address it promptly and determine an appropriate solution.
For maintenance concerns, daytime hours are generally the best time for us to respond and arrange assistance, approximately 11:00 AM–5:00 PM. Issues reported outside of these hours will be addressed as soon as reasonably possible.
If an issue significantly affects your stay, please report it before leaving the property. This allows us the opportunity to assess the situation and make reasonable efforts to resolve it.
