The home has an open concept plan with ample natural light that creates a laid-back atmosphere so you can kick back and relax. After a delicious meal made in the fully-stocked kitchen, turn the dining table into a pool table and play a round! Lounge on the comfortable sectional in the living room, turn on the fire place, and stream your favorite show on the TV. Or, grab a local brew and head to the rooftop to admire the views and catch a beautiful sunset Colorado is known for. This is the perfect home base to work and play during your Denver stay!

Guest Access:
Our guests will have access to the entire townhome and rooftop deck. Guests need to be comfortable with stairs, as the home has three sets of stairs, from the ground floor to the main floor and to the third floor.
The Neighborhood:
Sloan’s Lake/West Colfax
A few years ago, a trip to Sloan Lake was all about the water: fishing the marina, paddling the scenic shoreline, and enjoying the famed Dragon Boat Festival. Today, the lake isn’t the neighborhood’s only attraction, thanks to many cultural additions. Shops and restaurants have turned Sloan Lake into a walkable hotspot. All you’ll need to enjoy the neighborhood are comfy shoes and an empty stomach!
The home is located 3 blocks away from Sloans Lake, 4 blocks from Empower Field at Mile High, and just blocks to rock star restaurants and shops like Odell's Brew Pub and Sloan’s Patio Restaurant, and Alamo Drafthouse, an excellent movie theater that also shows classic films and offers cocktails and food served seat-side. In addition, the new Meow Wolf art experience is worth checking out, as are the Denver Aquarium and Elitch Gardens. All three are near Empower Field and the REI Flagship store.

One of Colorado's main draws is Rocky Mountain National Park, which makes for a great day trip. Drive 1.5 hours through a dramatic canyon for a day of hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing. Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We're also within a few hours of Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain.
This location is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the best of Denver and the Rockies! But, of course, it's impossible to see everything in one visit, so we look forward to hosting you again after you fall in love with Mile High Life.
Getting Around:
If you've never been to Denver, getting oriented is easy. The Rocky Mountains are to the West, and Downtown is East of where you will be staying. I-70 West will take you into the mountains and straight to the ski areas, while I-70 East intersects with I-25 to access Fort Collins to the North and Colorado Springs to the South. Colfax is the easiest way to get to Downtown or Golden. It also connects to I-25, the main North-South artery for the Denver area. The 36 takes you to Boulder and eventually the Rocky Mountain National Park gateway towns of Lyons and Estes Park.
Denver is a highly walkable city. In addition to Sloan’s Lake Park, nearby LoHi, the RiNo Art District, and LoDo (Lower Downtown) are excellent choices for strolling. Prefer to do your exploring on two wheels? Grab a B-Cycle and get pedaling! For those without a car, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft. Premier attractions such as City Park, Denver Zoo, and Denver Botanic Gardens are a short, inexpensive ride away.
Light rail trains are also an excellent way to get around Denver. Catch the W line at Sheridan Station. East will take you to Union Station (Downtown) while West will get you to Golden. You can also change trains from Union Station to get to various destinations. Union Station has been reimagined as a cultural hub with cafes, art, and shopping. From Union Station, Coors Field is within walking distance to the North, while Ball Arena (Nuggets and Avalanche) is to the South. Trendy Larimer Street is also nearby. The 16th Street Mall offers a free shuttle, which is the best way to get to the Denver Performing Arts Center as well as the State Capitol and Denver Mint. Get exploring!
