Come spend a romantic and relaxing time at this West Side Cottage. Located just a few minutes outside of Akron, in the peaceful and quiet town of Barberton.
The home is a 2 Bedroom 2 full bathroom Cottage Style home.
The master boasts a queen with a large walk-in closet. The second bedroom has a full over twin trundle bed. The living room has a queen pull out sofa. So, comfortably around 6 people. We also recently added a queen bed in to the partially finished basement.
You'll love coming to this romantic and elegantly decorated home in the Heart of Magic City, Barberton, Ohio.
You'll sleep comfortably in one of the 4 beds, be it the Master queen, the Full/twin trundle or the pull out queen sleeper sofa.
The kitchen is recently updated with all new appliances and is fully stocked with absolutely anything you would need to cook a great meal or entertain your family and friends.
Complete with 2 full bathrooms. One shower/tub/toilet full bathroom on main floor and a gorgeous fully renovated walk-in shower and toilet in the basement.
The outdoor space includes an amazing covered deck with seating for 8-10. A fire pit and also some great toys for the little ones.
The back yard has a privacy fence all the way around, only open at the driveway.
You will have full private access to this entire property throughout your stay. There will be a lockbox on the door with a code for no-contact entry any time of the day or night.

The city of Barberton has a history that is unique among Ohio cities. It was established in 1891, at the height of the state's industrial development, as a planned industrial community. Situated within easy reach of canal, river and railroad, the new town was located just seven miles southwest of Akron. Utilizing a natural glacial lake as its focal point, Barberton's founders laid out streets and lots for an attractive community of homes, churches, schools, and commercial buildings, and established many of the industries required to sustain it. A downtown developed, homes were constructed for businessmen and factory workers, churches and schools were built, and the city grew into an important industrial center of northeastern Ohio.
This vacation home is located in Barberton. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Cuyahoga Valley National Park and Silver Creek Metro Park, while Biery House and Museum and Akron Fossils & Science Center are cultural highlights. Akron Zoo and Sluggers & Putters are also worth visiting.

We are in the process of finishing up a bedroom in the basement also, with another queen, ready by end of Nov. 2022. So, comfortably around 8 people.
Barberton is a quiet neighborhood with friends and family all around. We have loved this city and grew up here for many years. Rich in traditions and family friendly. You can drive, bike, rent an Uber/Lyft or just walk around town safely and conveniently.
In the center of town, Lake Anna is one of the "Gems" of Barberton. This pretty little lake is home to dozens of ducks and geese who will not hesitate to come begging for food (please feed responsibily when visiting). It's surrounded by shade trees, well kept lawns and a paved walking / running track all the way around. Swimming is not allowed in the lake and there are a few porta potties on one side. We take our young grandchildren to Lake Anna regularly, where we picnic on the grass and enjoy the view. It's a lovely peaceful spot with benches everywhere. Lake Anna is a popular location for many annual events, most popular being "The Barberton Mum Fest".
Guests and visitors should comply with the parking regulations and requirements and must show consideration to other vehicles in the neighborhood. Please park only in the driveway and not on the grass. Otherwise anywhere on the street.
No smoking inside the Airbnb. Cigarette butts must be disposed of in an ashtray in the backyard of the property. No signs of smoking should be left anywhere on premises. This includes butts left on the ground. A $250 fine will be assessed if we have to pick up cigarette butts on the property or fumigate the home for the following guest.
No parties or public events of any kind. Unless requested prior to booking. Additional fees and a deposit will apply.
No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed. The maximum property capacity is 8 people.
Quiet time after 10 p.m. until 7 a.m.
For you, your family and friends ( & pets) safety, this property has exterior cameras (audio/video) , ring doorbells and blink cameras that are in plain view in public spaces, front yard and back yard and monitored regularly.
No eating or drinking in bedrooms. Please enjoy your meal in the dining room or outside.
Dispose of the garbage in the trash bin and outside receptaclesat check-out.
Keep a close eye on your kids at all times.
Curb your pets and comply with neighbors as far as barking complaints.
Make sure to turn off the lights, air conditioning, and any electronics when you leave the house. Don’t forget to close the windows and lock the door.
Report any problems in a timely manner and allow us to rectify the problem first.
Wash dishes and throw out garbage before checkout.
