There is a bus stop a block away.
Impeccably kept sunny, romantic home. Entrance opens through a greenhouse, a library, a formal dining room with a 17th-century trestle table and prie-dieux chairs, a large living room with a grand piano at one end and massive fireplace at the other. Heated hardwood floors, Persian rugs, wall-to-wall Berber carpeting.
30-foot kitchen on two levels: the upper portion with Italian-tiled floors, 13 foot stone and marble counters that include a granite farmhouse sink and a wine and beer refrigerator. A pantry and cabinetry are completely open to the lower level with views of the Roaring Fork River and Aspen Mountain. A cushioned eating area around an antique Dutch table faces a fireplace, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river, the bird-feeders and the ever-changing seasons. Two thousand square feet of deck wrap around the outside of the kitchen and living room. An outdoor Jacuzzi for four, an outdoor fireplace and wrought iron tables, umbrella and lounge chairs on the floating deck with built-in flower boxes.
