Located on the Darien River, in a quaint fishing village of Darian, your marshview condo, with private dock included, is an ideal place from which to reach all of the treasures of the Golden Isles of Georgia by car or boat. From the comfort of a home away, you are steps from the famous Skippers seafood restaurant. A short walk and you are on Broad Street with its quaint shops, Blue Bay Mexican restaurant, The Waterfront Wine Bar and Zio Carlo Italian Coffee Shop & Cafe. Across the main street are Keys North Market and Grill, Pelican Pizza Company and the Sugar Marsh Chocolate Shop A little farther is the Canopy Restuarant. Close by car are Catfish Charlie's Fish Camp Restaurant, on the water, and BJ’s, having an all you can eat seafood buffet.
The condo is well appointed to make your stay comfortable. The living room and 2 bedrooms overlook the mash as does the screened porch. The kitchen makes cooking easy while the chef shares conversations with those sitting on stools at the island. There are 2 oversized master suites with a new topper on the king size bed, private bathrooms with walk-in showers and a 3rd guest bedroom with full bath. The condo can be easily accessed by elevator or a short flight of steps
Stay close and enjoy a one day tour of Darien and its views, waterfront, shrimp boats and historical sites. Kayak the river and marshes from the condo. Enjoy excursions to St Simons (SSI), Jekyll, Sepolo and Cumberland Islands (wild horses). SSI and Jekyll have beautiful beaches, shopping and historical sites only 25 and 30 minutes away respectively. Quaint downtown Brunswick and its historic district is 25 minutes away and is worth a visit. Savannah and its historic River Street are a worthwhile day trip. 2 bikes are provided.
If driving, Darien is a short distance off of interstate 95. If flying the Savannah and Jacksonville International Airports are an hour away. The Golden Isle Airport is 10 minutes,
In the evening return to your newly refurbished condo and while watching the sun set over the marsh and enjoy a cocktail in your living room, on the screened porch or at the pool. After a full day choose from a king, queen or 2 twin beds. Eat out or prepare your meals in a fully equipped kitchen. The Coastal Market is minutes away and the big box stores about 20.
