Brand new Scandinavia-style riverfront home w a unique setting on 8 acres & tons of privacy. 20 min from Hudson and Windham ski mountain. Step out on your deck for drinks & dinner right by the sounds of a rushing river, or walk across the river into your own private swimming pond! Ideal location for nature retreat, spending time hiking, swimming, fishing, skiing, working remotely on the water w mountain views or writing that novel you have always wanted to finish. We do not allow pets. 2 hrs from the George Washington bridge.

The space
Welcome to the Catskill River House, our special riverfront getaway! This modern one-room cottage is all brand new and set in a unique, riverfront location. You can see and hear the rushing river from every space in this comfy & cozy cottage. You are 100% in nature with deer, birds, squirrels, and all kinds of wildlife. Fish just feet from the house.

20 minutes from Hudson Downtown where trains are available to NYC daily (2 hour by Amtrak)

Perfect space for a couple’s getaway, writers retreat or a fly fisher's dream (the River is full stocked with trout every year starting April 1st!). With a brand new full kitchen and bath with L'Occitane en Provence products, fast internet, cable TV, electric fireplace, premium Brooklinen bedsheets, lux Allswell mattress, and a huge deck with a gas BBQ for outdoor dining, you will relish the amazing, private sense of being surrounded by nature. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans, olive oil, salt, spices... grill and cook until your heart is content. Take a swim in the river -only steps away from the cottage.
Watch raindrops, catch sun rays, and gaze at leaves falling from the skylight above the bed. Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from Smeg while listening to your favorite music via Marshall. Fall asleep to the sounds of a rushing river right outside your door!
Completely private space is secluded on 8 acres of land to explore and swim, yet 100 yards from our home if you need anything. Feel free to text if you need any cooking ingredients, area recommendations or have questions on local wildlife (Bradly Cooper is the local handsome bear who sniffs around). We love this area and are more than happy to help and share what we can. We both work online and have flexible schedules so we are available but totally committed to your privacy.
