La Tinaia sits in the tiny hamlet of Busdagno comprising four properties deep in the hills of Garfagnana on the way to the foot of the famous Monte Forato mountain. It is situated in the picturesque Fabbriche di Vallico.
The area is known for its fantastic walking opportunities as well as other outdoor activities such as gorge walking.
While the hamlet has a get-away-from-it-all feel, it's conveniently
located less than a ten minute drive from the main road where there are
numerous shops, bars, and restaurants. In less than five minutes, you
will find the nearest excellent restaurant and in the interesting stone
village of Fabbriche di Vergemoli, another three restaurants
and a bar.
La Tinaia is a newly renovated and elegantly decorated 1 bedroom barn.
The apartment is surrounded by wonderful scenery and has a
fantastic vista of a large rock face. There is a private out of ground
pool for guests to use in the well manicured garden. In the garden
guests will find quality sun loungers, sun umbrellas and other outdoor
furniture. This owner has paid meticulous attention to detail in this
renovation.
From the garden you enter through large French doors to an open plan modern, minimalist designed space with high quality furniture. The newly appointed kitchen is well equipped with everything you could ask for.
Originally the barn served as a place for making wine. The owners have
kept interesting original features such as the round bathroom, which
was the grape press, where the fruit was gathered and processed for wine.
This apartment is just right for a couple interested in outdoor activities and keen to explore the dramatic scenery and surrounding villages. Due to the convenient location it is also suitable for those who simply want to relax, eat, sit back and take in the lovely view. The location allows for a relaxing and quiet time whilst also being within ten minutes of amenities.
The owners and their friendly dog live next door in their own villa and
take meticulous care of the huge garden that guests can explore.
Guests are welcome to bring their own pets. While the owners will be on hand to assist you, they live there discreetly.
Right next to the barn apartment is a large forest with excellent
trails throughout.
