You will love this renovated and charming cabin located on Lake Siesta. Situated in a quiet neighborhood outside of La Grange, enjoy the cabin surrounded by pines with access to the lake. Bring your own fishing poles and enjoy catching perch and bass (catch and release). Guests have access to a Jon boat. The outdoor charcoal grill can be used, but guests must bring charcoal. Swimming is NOT recommended in this lake. Our cabin is pet-friendly!
The cedar cabin is full of character with live edge cedar gable trusses and 2 porches, one overlooking the dock on the beautiful small lake within the Clear Lake Pines community. The lake is stocked with bass to catch and release. Grab a cup of coffee and enjoy watching the deer in the morning. Or, if you prefer, relax in the hammock or around the custom Texas-shaped table to take in the fresh air. You can also take the Jon boat or paddleboat out to fish. After enjoying a morning of wildlife watching and fishing, set out to explore Buescher State Park (15 minutes away) or Bastrop (25 minutes). There are many fun things to explore including the Depot in Winchester, the historic Murphy Steakhouse, or take a trip to Round Top (30 minutes). The starry skies at night will remind you that you can escape the city lights and still be less than 2 hours to both Houston and Austin. And who can resist the s'mores around your personal fire pit as you share stories & make family memories! Please note that our wifi is slower due to our rural location!

PET POLICY:
ALL pets must be verified with the property manager!
Pet Fee: $50/pet for the entire stay.
Rules:
No pets on the furniture.
No pets to be left unattended.
No using bowls from the kitchen for your pet.
Clean up after your pet. Inside and OUT!
Pets MUST be crated at night.
If an unreported pet is found to be staying in a property OR a violation of these rules, you will be charged $200.00 and asked to leave without a refund.
SAFETY AND PRECAUTIONS:
Since the property is located in a country setting, we have bugs and critters. We have the house sprayed regularly but they will find their way in occasionally. Always keep the door tightly closed at all times to keep the bugs out. To limit your exposure to snakes, please inform all occupants to stay on pathways and use a flashlight when walking at night.
Swimming or diving is not allowed in the lake.
Guests are FULLY and SOLELY RESPONSIBLE for any accident, personal injury, or bodily harm arising during their stay, so we encourage you to be watchful, extra careful and to be diligent.
