Welcome to paradise! This pretty-in-pink Barbie Dream Cottage is located on the historic side of Tybee Island & a short stroll to the beach. The cottage features a private, tropical heatable pool. This cottage is Key West inspired & has all the happy colors that you crave on a vacation. The decor at Barbie Dream Cottage on Tybee Island exudes a whimsical chic charm and is a true beach cottage oasis. A perfect location, well stocked, and the beds are super comfortable! The cottage offers a large amount of outdoor living and entertaining space with the tropical backyard offering a beautiful private, heatable swimming pool surrounded by plenty of well-furnished seating to enjoy your time outside. Or, sit around the Solo Stove fire-pit, where s'mores and friends get toasty. You can stargaze from the heated pool or enjoy basking in the glow from the fire pit. There is also an outdoor enclosed hot/cold shower, so you can quickly freshen up post a fun-filled day. With the poolside gas grill and a fully stocked kitchen, you can enjoy cooking some delectable meals for the entire group.
Relax on the breezy porch's twin swing bed surrounded by cozy pillows and cuddly throws, as twinkling Edison lights create a heart-warming firefly effect.
Tropical and playful hues express the carefree attitude of Tybee and once you take a look at this wonderful cottage, you will know you are in paradise. The entire cottage has a laid-back and relaxed vibe, just like Tybee Island. You will not find a comparable southern experience on the island, and it is Tybee's best-kept secret. Twenty minutes from downtown Savannah, Georgia, Barbie's Dream Cottage should be on the calendar of anyone looking for a luxurious relaxing getaway, with the perfect combination of nature and nurture.
The cottage is a short stroll to the beach, many restaurants & ice cream shops, surf shops, a lighthouse, and the Tybee Post Theater. Directly across the street are Tybee's walking paths and disc golf course! Bring your discs!

RULES:
This is a child/pet/smoke-free cottage. Older children are considered. Please understand I can't allow service animals due to severe allergies.
THINGS TO KNOW?:
~Beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and towels are provided
~Free WiFi & Free Parking
~Full kitchen plus a wine/beverage cooler, Dual Keurig for pods, and standard drip coffee maker
~Guests can choose to have the pool heated during their stay for an additional cost of $35 per day during the cooler months
~I don't provide fire starters/firewood for the Solo fire pit or coffee, so please remember to bring your own.
PLEASE NOTE:
All guests are encouraged to get travel insurance, as there are no refunds issued. Travel insurance compensates you for trip costs and money you spend due to unforeseen events before and during your trip. This is especially important during hurricane season and to protect you from any unforeseen event.
If you have a boat, bring it! Just check with me on the size (obviously a yacht won't work.. LOL). I should have enough room for your boat, depending on how many cars you bring, and you can simply drive down the road to the Lazaretto Creek boat ramp to enjoy a boating getaway.

The place is spotless, the beds are so comfortable I now have to go buy a new bed for our home, the silverware/dishes/glasses/pots/pans were so lovely and high-end, the pool was magnificent (we paid for the heating and it was so worth it), each sitting space was so adorable and so comfortable. I mean, I just can’t say enough good things about this space. Missy was also so amazing. She was so helpful with everything and her response time was pretty much instant. Her home is also located so close to everything. We don’t have one single complaint or even one single suggestion. "I cannot say enough about this sweet cottage! Every single nook and cranny of this special property has a quaint detail to discover. The screened porch to welcome us was already enough to make me feel like our sweet host, Missy, was sending a welcome hug. It was spotless and smelled so lovely. The crisp white surfaces made us feel so clean. Want the best, coziest sleep of your life? Snuggle into one of these beds! The sheets were butter soft. We paid extra for the heated pool and we were thrilled that we did! Such a lush oasis around the pool with her mature plants positioned for privacy from neighbors and it was hard to get out. The moon positioned itself perfectly for us to enjoy a cocktail in the moonlight… so cool. What a great location, on the historic gravel pathway to the beach. Neighbors were quiet and we felt so lucky to only have a 5-minute walk to the sand! Along the road is a creek that was FILLED with butterflies, turtles, and baby crabs. So we were entertained on our daily walks. Right around the corner were fun surf shops to explore and we ate at Salt Island which was over-the-top delicious!!!
