Welcome to our whimsical Beach House on the bay! Our home is situated in in the quaint waterfront town of Tracy's Landing, MD. Built in 1925, this immaculately updated home sits directly on Herring Bay on The Chesapeake Bay with breathtaking views from every room in the house. Our 1-acre property boasts a private beach, 4 kayaks, Paddle Board, a gas grill, fire pit, lots of beach chairs and a corn hole set.
Our main floor master has a California King bed and wall to wall windows with direct bay views. It also has a door out to the back porch and right out to the back yard. This bedroom is spacious with a large dresser and closet. A small room on the main level off the living room is the Bunk Room, named so because it houses a twin size bunkbed. There is a small dresser and hanging space in that room.
The living room has a very comfortable pull-out Queen bed for 2, and the large sectional and coffee table storage contain everything you need for bedding. The living area is spacious with ample comfortable seating, TV with Roku, large dining table, and a fully stocked coffee bar with Keurig machine and k-cups. The open living space has amazing views of the water off the back deck.
The deck is large and can be accessed right off the living room. The cottage kitchen is well appointed and is stocked with everything you’ll need. The main floor has a full bathroom with large standing shower. There is a large, enclosed wrap around porch with a small table from which to enjoy both sunrise and sunset.
Upstairs on the second floor is The Lady Bug Loft with a queen bed. This room has a closet, dresser, private waterfront balcony, a full bath with bathtub/shower combo and a loft space with a ladder to enjoy for reading (but use at your own risk as it’s quite elevated).
★Our home is a wonderful magical space for all ages, BUT please be aware that it is not advisable or safe to EVER have young children unsupervised inside or outside. There is a high drop from the back-yard bulkhead into the bay that a child could easily fall from, the bay, although shallow, is a water/drowning hazard. We would highly recommend that families with toddlers and smaller children please consider that, while our home can accommodate children, the bunkbed, loft room and wooden stairs, along with outdoor stairs and bulkheads, are all a potential danger/risk for falling that parents should be aware of and that in booking our home you acknowledge the dangers involved.
