Originally built as a stable, Platford Barn has real character with its wide doors, arched windows and beamed ceiling. As with all the barns, Platford Barn was named after one of the farm workers employed on the farm and his name can be seen carved into the brick work in the kitchen. All the bedrooms are on the first floor and enjoy views of the courtyard or the surrounding country side.
Platford Barn sleeps up to 5 guests in 2 bedrooms; 1 king size bedroom with ensuite shower room and 1 bedroom with 3 single beds. Both bedrooms are fully furnished with all necessary bedding and towels provided*. Each has a 32″ flat screen TV and hairdryer. Platford Barn also has an upstairs family bathroom with bath and separate shower.
For larger groups, Platford Barn has a sound-proofed adjoining door through to Hammond Barn allowing up to 11 guests to stay together. The garden and patio areas of Platford and Hammond Barns may also be linked together.
