Enjoy a quiet cup of coffee watching the resident egrets, bald eagles and other birds in the morning. Perfect retreat to return to after fishing or kayaking at the nearby state park.
Family oriented home with room for kids and fur babies! Located in a small safe Neighborhood on a dead end street.
Property backs up to Kelsey creek with wonderful picnic area.
Pet and Kid friendly with a fully fenced back yard and play equipment.
Just a short drive to 4 boat launches: Clearlake state park, lake County Park, Konocti Casino and Soda Bay.
Parking:
Room to park 3 cars and boat or trailer.
This is our home as well and we are happy to share our beautiful space with you.
Feed your creative side:
There is an Easel with canvas and some acrylic paints and brushes on the back patio if you would like to capture you new found serenity.
We also have chalk and poster paints in the plastic tub if the kids are feeling creative as well.
(Please supervise kids if they use the acrylic paint it very hard to get off the cement).
Outdoor fun:
The kids outdoor toys which include croquet, various types of balls, scooters, a tricycle and bubbles are for your use as well .
Sleeping accommodations:
There are two twin beds and a full bed in the house. Extra linens are available during your stay as well. In addition to the regular beds we do offer a double blowup mattress in case there are more guests than beds. We also have a few sleeping bags located in the blue room closet if you prefer sleeping under the stars.
You are also welcome to bring at tent for those extra guests that don’t mind roughing it a little.
Pets:
We love our furry friends and encourage you to bring yours on vacation. That said although we did take our pup with us the cats stayed home. You may not see them and you don’t need to let them inside if you don’t want to. They have food and water hidden out of sight so no need to worry.
For your use:
There is a kennel located on the side of the house in the shade with a water bowl if you need to leave your pup home while you go out. There is no requirement to use it but it’s there just in case.
Small dogs have a hard time staying in the yard when left alone.
There is a doggie door in the blue room closet you can put in any of the sliders and also a small metal playpen available for the furries as well.
(We do ask that you be so kind as to completing a poop patrol before you leave.)
Cleaning
There is dish soap, laundry detergent, hand towels and basic cleaning supplies available free if you need them. You’re on vacation we want to keep this as simple as possible. There is no need to strip down beds or put towels in the laundry. We do ask although that you kindly take out the trash.
There is a $50 cleaning fee for your stay and if for some reason there is a need to charge more that will be discussed with you individually. This would only be in the case of animals relieving themselves in the house or excessive damage done to the residence.
