Featuring 100 ft of private lake front, this newly renovated, four bedroom, 3800 sq ft home on the lake with lake views from nearly every room in the house, including all 4 of the bedrooms. This home is spacious, well-maintained, and clean with a large yard and lots of room for families/friends to stay together. Spend your day simply relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings and views of the lake or by exploring the beautiful Finger Lakes region, including wineries, breweries, hiking, water sports, and skiing. There are many restaurants within 10 minutes of our house, or you can cook at home in a kitchen equipped with all of the cookware and utensils you would need. After dinner, enjoy the breathtaking sunsets from the deck, the side patio or from the dock on the beach.
This property is beautiful anytime of the year. Spring and Summer are green with so much to do and explore; the Fall foliage is amazing, and the winters are peaceful, cozy, and serene.
This property is located in a quiet cottage community, with families who take pride in the peacefulness this area offers. This is not a party house. We ask that you respect our neighbors by adhering to quiet hours between 10pm – 8am.
About the house:
This incredibly unique home was originally built in 1928 as a log cabin and added to over the years with the biggest renovation making it a year-round home in 1998. Further interior renovations took place in 2022. The exposed logs in the original cabin make up the large cabin room featuring a stone fireplace with a gas fireplace insert. Adjoining the cabin room is a beautiful Great Room featuring cathedral ceilings, overlooking the lake with direct access to a second-story deck.
The kitchen is part of the original cabin, so it is not large, but it has been updated with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, baking dishes, toaster, microwave/air fryer combo, crock pot, panini maker, and coffee pot. In the kitchen you will find a few basic spices, cooking oils, coffee, and cocoa.
There are four bedrooms, each with their own full bathroom. The Master suite on the second floor has a king bed with an ensuite bathroom to include a tub and separate stand-up shower. This bedroom has a Juliet balcony overlooking the lake. The second bedroom, the “Woods Room” is located on the main floor, has a King bed with sitting area and French doors accessing an outdoor patio. This room does not have an ensuite bath but does have direct access to a full bath with a stand-up shower in the hallway next to the bedroom. Also on the main floor is a large bedroom the “Bunk Room” showcasing views of the lake through a floor to ceiling window with two Queen beds and a set of bunk beds. This bedroom has an ensuite bathtub/shower combination. The fourth bedroom, the “Lake Room”, is on the lower level with a Queen bed and an ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower. This bedroom also has French doors to an outside patio overlooking the lake.
There is a Pack-n-Play for guests traveling with little ones, as well as a bin with a few toys. There are also several games in the main rooms for those rainy or cold days, relaxing at home.
There are two smart tv’s, one in the Great room, one in the “Lake Room” (lower-level bedroom). These tv’s can be used by logging in with your own streaming service (Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, etc.). There is strong Wifi throughout the house, making working from here easy. We offer 2 separate workspaces (desk and chair in the Woods room) and a collapsible desk that can be taken out on the deck to work while overlooking the lake.
There is a cooling system in most of the house for those hot summer days and a good heating system throughout for the cold winter nights.
